ya, i agreed, somehow, camera get better picture than h/p even if the pixels are the same, cos camera lenses are better mah. H/p is good when u need to take a candid picture.

to TS.. megapixel is how big ur picture will get.. if the lenses are sucky, like a hp's(unless they upgraded it), den u will realise that ur 5 megapixel zoom to the max is quite crappy compared to a dcam 5 mp zoom to the max..

latest cybershot phone with 5 megapixels and face detection C902...
C905 will be coming out Q4 this year...8.1 meg face detection of up to 3 faces with gps and wifi...
hp and standalone camera got difference la...
i'm bloody tempted to get a camera myself but the fuss of having to bring two devices at the same time is just unbearable...
standalone cameras got more better features like ISO standards up to 3200 and stuff...their optical zoom and lens also overpower hp...
i think i lazy to wait for C905...so prolly getting C902 for me...hmm...the screen is small though...

for those who dont know,
there`s this thing called POST IMAGE PROCESSOR in a D-cameraHandphones only give u the file size, in which IMO is useless.. 3.2 MP is more than enuff… + aperture of HP is really too small for anything decent..
U know why ppl pay Hundereds for DCAM?
cuz of the POST IMAGE PROCESSOR
cuz of the better lens
cuz of the bigger aperture
eg. CANON haf DIGIC IIIhope it helps!
