mio eat electricity

    • Singtel's mio...that thing that connects the telephone line and internet and handphone makes the utilities bill increase? It has to be switched on 24hours...how to save electricity in this way...

    • pls leh, the amount of electricity the device take up is bery minimal lah

      if u relli so yim jim then u shd be the one make the effort to switch off lights when not in use, avoid on a/c

      there are other things in life  more worth ur worries than this.

    • so kiam, dun post here lah, very expensive ya. Cancel all lines, stay home and watch the day and nite goes by,...sure save alot.

      the accumulation of those little cents saved every month with the effect of inflation combined may spell out to a few hundred bucks saved in decades to come by..

    • well for me the telephone is hardly used...so jus switched off everything when leaving the house....come back home then on again...VIOLA!!! save enuf $$$ to retire in lush old folk home and live happily ever after...lalalalalalalalala sad.pngsad.png

      consider use candles instead of lights

      or worse to worse

      can use fireflies to light up your room etc

      the fridge is the only thing that needs power 24 hrs a day. not the modem..just turn it off when no one's at home...

      Aiya,Uncle, he needs to see the share market mah, he is a great investor, a global player ok, at nite, he needs to watch the NYE stock ok, then the next day, he needs to look out at the Asian stock..every seconds and minute to him is money ya.

      im using a starhub line for my home phone (FOC,uses the modem) though..
