A smaller pack costs less than a large one. What volume do you need? But for $150, your choices are limited.

Oh, true...look, as backpackers, you are suppose to be budgeting and not go for expensive bags, I saw alot of angmo gals backpackers living in bencoolen street on cheap rooms, they told me their bags are bought in Thailand and China, very cheap there.
OMG, i tried on one bag, its weight about 25 to 30 kg, sure kenna excess language, but on the other hand, they can hang carry too.

Budgeting, yes, but only if you are experienced and confident that you can find quality at low prices. Backpackers certainly want to avoid false economy. Imagine a backpack giving up somewhere in the jungle, or even in transit - your plans would have vaporized in an instant.
By the way, what are 'excess language' and 'hang carry'?![]()
As for brands, Gregory and Osprey are very hard to beat.
