I really don't think that it is true lar. There's no point in worrying also even if it is true as there is nothing that we can do to prevent it. Everyone has to die someday and if the news is true, we should all just sit back, relax and enjoy ourselves. There's no point in spending the 'last days' of our lives in depression =]
I seriously doubt the validity of the claim. Didnt even more people predict that 2000 would spell the end of the world. Aren't all of us still alive and well? =]

in 2012, on 21 of Dec, the earth and the rest of the plants will align in a line. This is pretty interesting. Anyway, the Mayan mention about the end of something but i don't think it is really the end of everythings.
