  I'm very keen on volunteering. Can anyone share if they are currently volunteering with any association? Can I join?

  Me too. Let me know when you find one, not so hard work, not long hours, got meals provided and got young pretty volunteers to work with.

  Actually, I'm looking more into visiting old folks, chatting with them, cleaning up, feeding them.

  also, taking care of animals and tutoring and counselling of children.

  Seriously Cherry, I admire your desire & efforts. I have done some voluntary work myself and feels good whenever I'm able to help the unfortunate or needy.

  that's true. however, i prefer real interaction than virtual interaction when it comes to volunteering. i wish to be physically there for the less fortunate. it makes the experience more real and meaningful for me.

  Only volunteered for fund raising, logistics and help out in outings for a home for the aged.  Good luck with your volunteer work.
