does anyone know how taobao works?
im not very good at chinese so i dont really understand the terms and conditions.
anyone care to share?
You purchasing from online blogshops or just the main site ?
I only know the clearer details from online blogshops,
Usually the items would have the picture, picture below would have the price.
If you're purchasing from online blogshops,
There is a calculation fee, example ( 0.052 )
So example the item you're intersted in the website is 290yuan,
Take 290 x 0.05 = $15.08.
Do inculde the shipping & handling fee.
Thats all i know for online blogshops,
Example of it can be found at -- 30 posts required --
I purchase from them before, you might want to have a look how the basic works.
If you're looking at main site how to calculate ,
Im not sure about that . (:
im talking about the main site.
i tot u mean ta pao
No la. Taobao.com
Chinese version of ebay. From china.
The stuffs there kinda cheap.
it's all in Chinese, obviously. And the chinese characters are giving me a terrible headache! =(
Chinese ebay hor, dun get burn ya
one piece of tissue paper few million dollars ah.
I saw some blogshop got this spree. But 15% agent fee + $1 handling fee.
Singapore GST only 7%..
If i buy directly from there no need pay the agent and handling fee.
But i dunno how =(

Resonses are as following:
1. Local language
2.Easy payment (any bank card except the credit cards)
3. More safe (zhifubao)
Zhifubao is more safe becasue it works like this:
1. You pay to Zhifubao
2.Zhifubao tell the seller to send the good
3. You get the goods,
1)You like the goods, confirm,Zhifubao pays the seller
2)You don't like the goods, ask for refund, Zhifubao pays you back.
4.Give feedback to the seller and let everyone can see the comments.
Importance: You must check the feedback of the seller in cases there is a scammer!
