Should coporal punishment be totally banned in schools?

it is known that coporal punishment has been banned in schools for quite some time already, but ask yourself. should it be completely banned? or should we have at least a little corporal punishment in school?
when i say completely ban, it means DMs or principals in schools will have no power to hit the children, using the cane and stuff like that, now it is only restricted to these 2 people in schools which are so called entitled to induce corporal punishment. Teachers are not allowed to do so.
But then again, some teachers are still doing it in school, "secretly"? not?
I want to hear your views about this. Perhaps you can support it with articles/evidences to boost your answer?
Question: Should we ban it completely or still keep a little of it?

i think should use different sets of punishment. like private punishment, sergeant punishment, lieutenent punishment, captain, major, colonel punishment. but i think most punishment is general.

At the very least public corporal punishment should be completely banned....what can u make the student learn by humiliating them??

yes i have to agree with you, but kids are getting more wildful? is it because punishment has became slack thats why students are becoming like this?

To me Singapore sch r very kind to the kids liao Other country sch might just kick those brats out of sch , In my sch there is a trouble maker who snatch thef , fight and lot of trouble is allowed to come to sch even he still making trouble

Korean schools have coporal punishment, which is a mini version of what they will get in their NS. You can search youtube for clips.
