when ang mo use "lah" in their sentence

  it sounds so fake. it's like they still have their US accent, and they forcefully add a lah to the end of their sentence to sound more localised. and he succeed in irritating me.

  will try to imitate the PRC accent when talking to PRC in the hope that this will irritate them too.

  got one time this ang moh talk to me, he added a lah behind his sentence and he laugh..

  then i look at him and he said, "thats singapore's english! hahahaha!"

  they use it wrongly by placing emphasis on the LAH.

   

  i taught my ex collicks how to say it with a more subtle tone and when they all tired it for themselves, they all said they finally got it. hahaha
