New Jurong Point

I went to Jurong Point just now....Boy oh boy...there's lots of extension works going on and new stores like Starbucks, Blum & Co. and Din Tai Fung are up in the cards.
Looks like Jurong Point is set to be a mega-mall in the West....
Certainly look forward to the new tenants in months to come!

I stay around there...The crowds there are horrific....almost everyday....
Having a large Boon Lay interchange plus an MRT station over there...
Army personnel from Jurong and Pasir Laba Camp and SAFTI etc..
Students & staff from NTU...
Workers from Tuas Industrial Estate....
Plus hundreds of other shoppers and passers-by....
It's no doubt that some claimed it's like a "war zone" over there...

families are already coming to NTU canteens to have their dinners/macdonalds.

More workers having picnic at night at the grass patch

Looks like the mall will be a good place to hang out and chill for the indian foreign workers around that area.
Right now, I think they hang out around the empty grass patches in the neighbourhoods.

Boon Lay is set for a brand new image...

i stay ard there too. today is fewer people. i think there are a lot of ABNN because of the construction there

Jurong point is the currently one of the most disgusting SC with a huge numbers of bangla and indian workers going there. Boon Lay mrt is too overcrowded and the crowd will only ease when the mrt extension opened.
