  Oh yes, how come I don't seem to see any pong pong trees around nowadays? But there were so many of them when I was studying about them in pri sch.

  I still remember the old Hougang Wet Market that has been torn down

  I think they were uprooted and made obsolete when the garmen decided to plant edible fruit trees instead.And also the game of hantam bola has lost its popularity>LOL

  ....my mom and pop went to a chicken rice store and had ordered chicken rice. They forgot to specifically request $3. per plate.....they got knock $30 bucks.

  Can someone tell me what are the exact street names for

  Da ma lu(1st street)

  San ma lu(3rd street)

  Shi ma lu (4th street)

  I know er ma lu(2nd street) is Queen Street while the part near the temple at Bugis/Rochor is called Shi ma lu

  How did the names of 1st,2nd,3rd,4th  streets come about?

  I also miss the old world trade center now vivocity for its niche bookshops and book fairs....now vivocity got bookshops also but no niche niche ones....

  I dont know who esle would do this in the future ? But I remember in a distant past when my dad ,on every election day he would wake up very early get dressed up in a stylo mylo way like he is going to an important event.....then off  to screw it up by voting for the PAP at the poll booth >
