What would you name your children??

A friend just had a baby son recently.
They named him Beckham... in tribute to their hero....
Somehow just felt that it's not appropriate....
I dun noe...
Since young, I had actually wanted to named my girls Hope, Faith and Joy....
Come to think of it, I've never really think wat to name if it's a boy... but Zachary does have a nice ring...
Well... still long way to go anyway.... tat is I ever have children...
So... what would you people name your children-to-be?? -
If it's a gal - Melody..
If it's a boy - Pyro... -
Yuna and Tidus sounds nice

I'd want to name my son Alexander. Cos it sounds kind of knightish.
If it's a girl.. haven't thought of one.. cos I'd want to give her a beautiful name that's rare.
I believe that a person's name does, to some extent, affect how she/he grows up to be... -

seriously i thot of naming my daughter Yang Cai Ni...provided i dun haf to follow any naming constraints..like the middle name has to be constant throughout the family line..

I will not give my children christians names though i christian hehehe cos i think chinese names somehow sound more personal...
I would call my daughter Huang Man En (Man as Man Zu (contented) and En as in Gan En (thankful).)
Son I will call Huang Jian Shin (Jian as in Jian Qiang (strong emotionally and Shin as in Shin Xing (trustworthy, have faith))

for us gers more difficult lehz... especially when we dun even noe wat's their surnames gonna be....

prob wanna give them chinese names... only. and im going to follow the middle character that was passed down by ancestors, stating that the generation after me is to haf this certain middle character.. makes it quite hard to name kids but well...
but who knows, looking at my signature, i prob wont even haf kids. haha... -
