  jus wanted to commenmorate this thread for someone hamster *baobei* who pass away last nite
  
  would like to thank him for the fun times he had spent in this world during this 1yr~8mths... though short but meaningful...

  he is now rested under a tree below my window.....

  I understand the feeling...my baobei passed away on 29/7/03... With me for 5 years plus... So sad...

  Dwarf hamsters life span are usually that short. Ard 3 yrs maybe. Mine had died quite a few due to old age You can see signs of aging among them as they start to shed their fur and whole body botak no hair so sad. But yet they still eat as per normal maybe not so active.
  
  And ya remember to build 'coffin' for them hor... dun juz wrap them in newspaper throw down the rubbish chute!!!

  its ok, i just happen to be free at that time and realised that you need some help. hope you can get over this "pain" as soon.
  will be praying for you to overcome this "difficult" period.
