This morning, as the train was rolling into Tiong Bahru MRT station, there was this metallic screeching sound from below. I dunno what it was. The train then came to a stop but the train doors did not open. Then, the driver spoke through the intercom to inform the passengers that the train will not stop at Tiong Bahru and that passengers who wanna alight will have to get off at Outram to take the opposite train back to Tiong bahru. I could see that the train service continued as usual and there was no disruption. Anyone has any idea what happened?
