u gotta check ur m/b spec.....9600 pro is compatible with AGP 4X (1.5V), 8X (0.8v) or Universal AGP 3.0 bus configuration (4X/8X).
Think new graphic cards are mostly backward compatible. But if thats the case you wouldn't be able to get the best out of the new graphic card.
To confirm, ask around in Sim Lim Square. Ask a few retailers till you are pretty sure of the actual answer before deciding on what to do.

backward compatible .. sure can. but not getting the best outta it.
I just bought the card, my board doesn't supports it. But my sister's one supports this card. Maybe my P3 mobo is too old already. It's time to upgrade this old machine.
