Anyway I am chinese and Christian. I go to Wesley Methodist Church.

Chinese...and Christian..Used to go to Trinity Christian Centre in SG.
So wonder if U know that SG pro tennis player Koh Tung-yi...his family is there too in Westley? -

When I want to go after pretty girls, I am

Chinese & Christian. used to go to Prinsep Street Presbyterian Church. Now attending New Creation in the meantime while looking for another church to settle in. I like New Creation tho I think I'd actually prefer a smaller congregation (200 to 500) where everyone pretty much know everyone else. Evangelical in orientation. Anyone know of any.

I got a couple of frens who are in New Creation and they are in the choir team.And Jocelyn Yeo and her family is also in New Creation...I have been there once..n it is not bad.
Every church will come to the fate of "over-crowding"...New Creation is growing and I think just like TCC..it will become commercialised

Pentecostal is charasmatic in a sense since we danced to the worship songs and we speak in tongues.
Being commercialised meaning ppl starts to go the church because it is cool and happening and it is famous...Like in TCC, there are a couple of celebrities there....and it sort of make the place commercialised...and it also leads to ppl thinking a church is not a holy place anymore...So do u go to church for "fun" or to worship the Lord..comes to be the core question of more subtle chrsitians. -

Hmm,,,If you want churches with smaller congregation, you can try methodist churches,,actually Westley is not too bad...and I have been to Grace Methodist too near WTC..and I like their preaching and worship songs.
Grace Asembly of God in Redhill near Crescent girls have very good sermons and songs as well....Happy church hunting...

perhaps this is being a lil antagonistic.. but would some of you kindly explain how/why you became a christian? were you converted? or 'cos of your family background? if you were converted.. what made you decide to do so?? always wondering about this...
