I was thinking of starting Singapore's own wiki.
For those who don't know what a wiki is, go see www.wikipedia.org.
Was wondering if anybody here frequents wikis? This must be the Next Big Thing for Singapore's online community!

Basically a wiki is a website where anybody can edit the contents.
To find out more, go to www.sgwiki.com and there are a few links introducing the concept of wikis there.

Hi there,
I have received some feedbacks with regards of the security issues of the sgWiki. Some of the Singapore Buses forumnites had voiced out concerns that the contents can actually be changed by anyone even without logging in, hence, if one with evil intentions for sabotage were to take action, all the informations would be gone.
What we would like to know is:
1. Are there any archives or backup for all information posted?
2. Are there any ways or things we can do to prevent such things, e.g. delibrate deletion of information?
Thanks for clarification.

Also, any vandalism can be reversed with a few clicks.
Jason, kids don't know what's lame, they do things on impulse. That's our worry.
