Download speed?

I had just subscribe to scv maxonline.
I was wondering what is the normal downloading speed for all you cable modem users. I'm a little worried about my downloading speed. The highest I have reached is 200k/s.

It depends what time you are accessing the net as cable modem uses a shared cable,and it also depends what site you are surfing to,i once downloaded a 100MB file in half hour,ehehe

My magix modem is not 'that' fast as it claims. Sometimes is worse than a 56k.

My maximum speed is 200kb/s.
My slowest is 10kb/s.
I had once downloaded a 74mb file in less than 10 seconds.
But whenever I download from idrive or juston, I usually get a little above 10kb/s.
And I thought that cable modem is capable of reaching download speed 1mb/s,as stated in the scv maxonline website. -
