Where to repair thumb drive?

  This is the 2nd thumb drive I own that spoiled. The XP computer now have no response when I insert the thumb drive. It's a Sony brand one. It is okay to remove the thumb drive after using when the LED light is no longer indicating that it is still working? Where can I get it repair?

  Think was told no guarantee when bought from Challenger, $125 special price some more. How come thumb drive so easy spoil one. Now my company not buying me another. The worst thing is all my data got stuck inside forever if it cannot be repaired.

  go sony and ask lo.. no warranty also can it done by paying lo... see if they can quote u a price or help u retrieve ur data..

  It's a 256MB one, made in Malaysia. Dun know why the Thumb Drives I used so easy become spoil. Next time not going to store all my data inside any more.

  What if Sony replies back say, sorry, they don't provide such services anymore, and even if they did, it'll cost you a bomb and more than a newer, larger capacity thumbdrive? And tell you to look for another brand or model. How?
