Random thoughts in a evening on the eve of a killer paper

Now what was I thinking... I mean, there isn't even a thing I can think of saying. In fact, this isn't even a topic at all.
Random thoughts? Am I capable of that? In hours, I will need to sit for my 2nd paper, and just hours after that, my 3rd, then fourth, and in a few days after that, my fifth. Pressure's piling, time's running short.
In fact, its dinner time now. Dinner. 3rd meal in a day. Dinner has been largely nothing more than a benchmark for my revision schedule. As in "I must finish chapter 8 by dinner." Shouldn't dinner be.. well, dinner? The evils of examinations.
Right.. its dinner time.

what could be more insane than checking on the stove 8 times before I leave for the paper.
Checked on the medical website. This is known as Compulsive Obsession Disorder.. or is it Obsession Compulsive Disorder, or Ob.. Co.. sev..
Could I be suffering from that? Or the suspicious itch I had been having since last week. Symptom of a disease? Am I going to die.. now, where do I go when I die.
Why do people die.. people live a long time don't they? I mean.. 80 years, and beyond probably.
Butterflies. butterflies don't live a long time. Breaking out of its cocoon, it dies by dusk. Now, isn't life strange? -
... which reminds me of the chicken rice at Parklane, Bigbird.
Chickens. Chickens don't live a long time. Ducks don't live a long time too. Chillis too.
The chicken chopper too. A single miss of the chopper could result in the lost of a finger.
And when the finger comes off, blood splatter. Everywhere. You don't want to eat chicken stained with human blood do you. I know I don't.
It won't taste good. -
But then of course, the finger can be sewed back. Just remember to dip it in ice. There's a good chance you can put it back together.
Its just the chicken now. Chicken don't taste good after it has been stained with human blood.
Chickens taste better if it isn't overcooked. Rip one up and if you see it stained with traces of blood, you know you have a tender piece of meat.
Now we don't mind chicken with traces of blood as long as it belongs to the chicken. Not humans.
That's discrimination. I hate discrimation. -
Bravo. We are now witnessing the unravelling of a brilliant mind on an eve of the battle between good and evil. The goodness of being prepared and working hard versus the evils of time constrained and unfair judgement.
But what if, your side are filled with spies and unpopular support. We know we can't conduct a full-scale total war on evil without the support of the home population and we both knew how the general population hate war. Not to mention the nefarious means the spies used against us. Pray tell how to battle?

I fear gentlemen, very much fear we are going to fight a losing war on the Eastern Front. Yes, given the circumstances, there is no choice but to engage on several fronts. The enemies are known to overwhelm us by using such tactics. Several battles conducted on several fronts to confuse and further divide us.
Of course, if we had follow my report given in August, we might perhaps be more prepared to face this evil. To get the men in better shape and to further equipped us. Not to point finger gentlemen, I seem to hear very often this phase “it is far too early and time consuming” being parroted around in the corridors of the Ministry. It is time to reap what we have sown for this past few months.
The men are demoralised. The equipment below fighting capabilities and logistics are a nightmare. The war is due to commence on the 31st of October and we all know, this is a war we canÂ’t afford to lose. I pray that we can perhaps hold them to a bloody draw. And that, gentlemen, is an optimistic forecast.

Sir,
Given your directive, we have actively searched out the spies and agent provocateurs. Pardon my language and manners, but the situation now is like a block of cheese, there are holes everywhere! The worst damage is to come from a certain female agent nick named Tet.
Form the surveillance we have conducted on her, she is an expert agent skilled in disinformation and she has the ears of General James, the commander in charge of the Eastern Front. I would stress that I have the utmost respect for the General but I feared he had been taken in by her. Yes sir, I question the ability of General James to tackle the enemies on the 31st of October. Agent Tet is going to be the ruin of the General, and sir, we both knew what females are capable of, especially well trained ones.
We canÂ’t afford to confront the General without any hard evidences but I believed she is the one enemy that is perfectly capable of destroying our war efforts. Sir, you put me in this position because you trust my instinct. And I hope you will further trust me for I am about to launch Operation TET with the aim of kidnapping her until the war is, according to the General Staff Office, over by the 14th of November. I await your instruction.

very against the idea of mobilising for war and frankly, I am apt to agree with them. The nation is not really for war and after a lure of 6 months, they are just not ready for the prospect of war. They are too used to the good life and now, this premonition of fighting again just ignites something in them.

But war is inevitable and it is going to happen whatever the people might say. The government is firm in their decision and war is what they are going to get. We can only pray for these people and hope they come to their senses. This is reporter James from

your excuse is not acceptable as it clearly shows a lack of initiative to train your men properly and equipment wise?It's a little too late,but we are willing to supply what you require provided you get your men into shape as time is of the essense and a dark cloud looms over the front while i surmise your men are getting nervous,remember war is not only fought by who has the better equipment and training,but by tactics,surely you have not forgotten how the Battle of Agincourt was won by the english who faced a similar situation to you as it was the 1st lesson in your war tactics course unless you were sleeping through it as usual

I learnt recently that what I did was known as metacognition. -
Does that really work?! I was told once when I was a kid that if my teeth ever come off I an just soak it in milk for an hour or so then place it back to my gums. Dearest Tet,
By the time you read this, I would be in the Eastern Front, looking over the horizons at the enemy. The last few days, I have drilled my men hard and make sure the quartermaster is doing his job right. Due to the heavy burden place upon me, I fear I am falling ill soon. And all this is happening right at the start of the campaign.
But worry not, for am I not more than capable of handling myself? Do I not distinguish myself in the battle of A------, in which I was duly promoted to my current rank? True, I should have been in the General Staff if the battle had gone much better but I am satisfied with the arrangement because this is what I wanted out of my life.
I need to write to you to calm myself before the eve of every major battle. You know that very well and it had sort of become a ritual for me. And again, have faith in me and my grey matters. It will excel, or perish in doing so. Wish me lucked. Tomorrow, at 0900 sharp, shall be a glorious day for me.
