BEIJING, China (CNN) -- A Chinese attacker stabbed to death the father-in-law of a U.S. Olympic coach and seriously wounded the American's wife and a Chinese tour guide before killing himself, the International Olympic Committee said Saturday.
Todd and Barbara Bachman of Lakeville, Minnesota were attacked at the Drum Tower, an ancient monument in downtown Beijing, the IOC and Chinese authorities said.
Barbara Bachman's injuries are "serious and life-threatening," an IOC statement said. The tour guide's condition was not immediately clear.
Todd Bachman was the father-in-law of U.S. Olympic men's indoor volleyball head coach Hugh McCutcheon. McCutcheon's wife, 2004 U.S. Olympic women's indoor volleyball player Elisabeth Bachman McCutcheon, was with her parents when they were attacked, but she was not hurt, the IOC said.
The Bachmans were not wearing apparel that identified them as relatives of members of the U.S. delegation at the time of the attack, the IOC said.
The attack happened around noon at the Drum Tower, a popular tourist site, China's official news agency Xinhua reported.
The assailant, a 47-year-old man from Hangzhou in eastern China, jumped to his death from the tower after the attack, authorities said.

actually it's the part-time students that might be affected the most (like myself), especially if the class starts at 7pm. After work, rush to school, no time for dinner. So it's kinda unfortunate that they have to stop with the refreshment thingy. The alternatives that they made don't really make sense though. Like extending the food court operating hours to 8/830pm. If you realise, by 730pm both food court will be quite empty coz classes will already started by then >_<. And the mobile food cart is only available at SIM Hq (and Ngee Ann blk 51 i think), but sometimes I have classes at Ngee Ann Blk 82. So I don't find that helpful as well. Guess can only rely on vending machines.
Anyway bo-pian la as long as they don't increase the course fee, I'm fine with it.
PS: The refreshments (esp the coffee/tea) are getting worst anyway. So not much loss.. IMO.

The term anal-retentive (or anally retentive, anal retentive) derives from Freudian Psychology, although in common usage the original meaning has been altered. This term is often referred to simply as "anal." The term is often used to describe a person deemed to be overly obsessed with minor details.
Oral fixation has two possible outcomes.
- The Oral receptive personality is preoccupied with eating/drinking and reduces tension through oral activity such as eating, drinking, smoking, biting nails. They are generally passive, needy and sensitive to rejection. They will easily 'swallow' other people's ideas.
- The Oral aggressive personality is hostile and verbally abusive to others, using mouth-based aggression.

I checked my safari seems to be updated. I coded/created my own template, never make any changes to it and only recently i noticed the pop-up. External links that are included in my template are from photobucket, greenpeace website, sitemeter, blogger choice award and google ads. Unsure if one of it is the 'cause' of the pop-up.

Hey guys,
Just wondering what could be the reason behind this problem. When viewing my own blog, With "Block Pop-Up" disable, it seems fine with Firefox & Flock. but with Safari, a pop-up advert shows up. Any ides if the problem lies with my blog or comp? I am using mac and blog host is blogger. The pop-up advert seems to be from yeildmanager.com
