In this Joe Foo case he is on three days of medical leave by the SGH for a hamstring strain (leg) so excuse leg only but can be forced to do Chin UP!

Simply becos Singapore is a Gold mine, they will continue to withdraw Cash and Benefits from us whenever they need it. Singapore says five alleged Singaporean members of the Jemaah Islamiyah militant network have been released.
The Ministry of Home Affairs says three of them were released in March after being held for two years under Singapore's Internal Security Act.

All five are under restriction orders which limit their movements and activities.
Whereas the Mudland government used the ISA to arrest an opposition member of parliament and two journalists a few days ago. One of the journalists has been released, but the other two people are still being held.

The People’s Liberation Army is being forced to walk long distance to reach disaster sites. It is in time of crisis are we able to see soldiers being put into real test.
In Dujiangyan city, 50 kilometres from the Sichuan capital of Chengdu, 80 per cent of the buildings imploded, corpses were strewn on the streets and dazed residents were taking what they could carry and walking out of town to a “refugee” camp set up on the outskirts.
More than 50,000 troops joined disaster relief efforts or were moving into the area.
CAN our very own SAF soldiers cover such distance and perform relief task efficiency? or just complaint!

The Singapore High Court dismissed a bid to save a 65-year-old Buddhist temple site from government acquisition, but a Bodhi tree regarded as sacred will not be chopped down, ST reports.
Devotees of the temple had filed a suit against the acquisition, alleging a violation of the constitution. The decision published in The Straits Times gave the trustees two months to move the Jin Long Si Temple to a temporary site.
The government did not breach the constitution, said Justice Tan Lee Meng on Monday. The site was acquired by the Singapore government in 2003 as part of redevelopment plans for more housing. The zinc-roofed temple was given until January 31, 2008 to relocate. The move was postponed till further notice because of the lawsuit.
The government had offered the temple alternative sites. Temple president Tan Poh Heong said that he would consult with the temple's lawyers.
Saved, however, was the huge Bodhi tree, believed to be more than 100 years old, on the temple's premises. The tree has a girth of 8.5 metres and is 30.5 metres tall.
The Law Ministry that said the tree will be retained on the land, and the developer will be required to take necessary measures to ensure its preservation.
Both nature lovers and temple devotees have been asking for the tree to be left undisturbed. Buddha is believed to have gained enlightenment while sitting under a Bodhi tree.

China says it plans to increase military spending by nearly 18% this year, to 417.8bn yuan ($59bn; £30bn). The figure was revealed ahead of China's annual parliamentary session, which begins on Wednesday.
Other nations have expressed concern about China's growing military power, and say Beijing is not open enough about what it is spending its money on.
Washington claims that the real Chinese defence budget is at least double the stated amount.
In an annual Pentagon report released hours before China's defence spending announcement, the US highlighted particular concern over Chinese activities in both space and cyberspace.
China said it rejected the Pentagon report as a "serious distortion of facts" that could harm relations between the two nations.
"It breaks international norms... We do not pose a threat to any country. The US should drop its Cold War mentality," the foreign ministry said in a statement.
But China said... Most of this year's military increase will be spent on increasing salaries and accommodating higher oil prices, according to Jiang Enzhu, a spokesman for China's National People's Congress, which begins its annual meeting on Wednesday. Mr Jiang said spending on armaments would rise only moderately.
"China pursues a national defence policy that is defensive in nature," he said.
"China's limited military capability is solely for the purpose of safeguarding independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity, and does not pose a threat to any other country."
He added that China spent less on defence, as a proportion of GDP, than the US, UK, France and Russia.
But the international community remains concerned.

One more day to know the outcome to this youth Olympig bid. Singapore even put up a party to celebrate... What if we lose???!!!!
<Padang Party to greet Youth Olympic Games bid outcome
Wed, Feb 20, 2008
ONE more day. That is all that separates the world from knowing whether Singapore or Moscow will host the inaugural 2010 Youth Olympic Games (YOG).
Starting from 5.30pm on Thursday, Singaporeans can be part of The Final Countdown party at the Padang.
The party will climax with the live satellite announcement of the winner from the IOC headquarters in Lausanne, Switzerland at 7pm.
Two giant LED screens have been put up in front of City Hall, where the public can catch the eight-minute broadcast at 7 pm.
Over 5,000 people, dressed in red, are expected to turn up.
Festivities include performances by Asian Idol Hady Mirza and Project Superstar winners Daren Tan and Tan Diya on the stage at the steps of City Hall.
The result will round off over seven months of hard work by Singapore's bid committee - work that included submitting a comprehensive candidature file, securing financial and infrastructural guarantees and making a presentation to the IOC.
From nine cities in October, a shortlist of five was made in November, then whittled down to two last month.>To be frank, I'm more interested to know if I have won my 10 million $$ TOTO tmr.

Moscow says they are confident of beating Singapore in bid to host Youth Olympic Games.
They have better infrastructures and proven sporting event.
..."Experience is our number one strength," said the Russian. "We hosted the World Youth Games in 1998, with young athletes from 135 countries coming to Moscow.
"Our citys infrastructure for sports is solid. We have up to 30 sports events annually and have hosted international sports events such as the Volleyball European Championship (2007) and Athletics World Indoor Championship (2006).
"Experience is very important and with less than two years to put it together, Moscow already have a team of professionals in place to do a good job."
In its report issued two days ago, the IOCs sixmember Evaluation Commission felt that Singapore and Moscow would present the least risk to the IOC in organising the 1st Summer Youth Olympic Games.
The only advantage we have is - The Good Weather!
