There is no place in Aikido for pettiness and selfish thoughts. Rather than being captivated by notions of "winning or losing," seek the true nature of things. Your thoughts should reflect he grandeur of the universe, realm beyond life and death. If your thoughts are antagonistic towards the cosmos, those thoughts will destroy you and wreak havoc on the environment.

I'm currently training with Ueshiba Aikido under George Chang Sensei though occassionaly i'll train with Shinjukai's Philip Sensei.
Fees charged is $78.75 per 3 months, while Gi cost $50 for normal ones and $75 for thick ones.
Anyway, the different between Ki- aikido and traditional schools is that Ki- aikido teach Aikido with strong emphasis on the concepts of Ki.
All current Traditional School also have emphasis on Ki application but less than Ki Schools. One other difference is the Ki Schools have a balance training weightage on Ki and Self Defence while the Traditional School have a higher training weightage on Self Defence than Ki.
And they are not affiliated with the Hombu Dojo.
