i think clinton will secure the nomination, her support is mainly the party institution while obama draws his from the grassroots....also, with blacks not forming enough numbers across the other states, obama can only look to secure wins in another handful of states....
new york and the neighbouring states should be easily for clinton and so for obama to convince his party to nominate him, he needs california...with edwards increasingly lagging behind, more whites would vote for clinton....so realistically, clinton and blowjob bill will contest against mccain and lose, simply because hillary isn't that likeable....

with your dip, i think you will get some exemptions for acca…that is if you want to do accounting…otherwise go get a degree, you will also get exemptions for relevant subjects….unless you run your own firm or become an agent in real estate of insurance, the more education you have the more you will earn…that’s for sure….but if you have to compete with cheaper ft, then good luck…

Singapore also enjoy the 6% tax paid by foreign workers and as I understand locals are not marginalise in terms job placement here in Singapore, locals are the first chioce..
Only, I don't understand why there's a lot of complains why Singapore well come FT/FW as a matter of fact this ppl are also helping Singapore economy to grow..agreed on first point but the drive has been excessive...
second point you are mistaken, locals are losing at the higher end and lower end spectrum of the job market.....the former is about talent while the latter is about the dirt cheap labour.....
economy may be growing but it's driving prices a lot steeper which is straining the average household........

when comfort were reporting their cabbies were taking in more earnings, you could hear the skeptical laughters from many, including cab drivers themselves....my uncle who drives for leisure has found a new job, baby sitting his grandkids, my neighbour traded in the cab for a delivery van and one cabbie i had a conversation with plans to give up after cny to run a pc shop....
maybe it's a knee jerk reaction but i think cabs are too expensive to be a viable option...my uncle was relating an incident of how a family boarded his cab from downtown east to amk during peak hour, the fare came to $42, the family wasn't expecting it and told my uncle that's the last they'll hail a cab for 'long' distance....
comfort loves to compare with other countries on how the fares are comparable, does anyone have any idea as to how much cab rentals are like in hk, london and aussie where comfort had drew comparison from?

finally, after wasting decades in trying to find a free market model for public transport, the govt has conceded it has failed....they've been constantly told sg was too small for such practices but it fell on deaf ears....
mah bow tan as transport minister was very insistent about the need for competition, in the end, it failed to dish out the world class transport they were espousing....
upping the fares annually didn't improve the services except to line the pockets of the major shareholders of the transport operators.....
this also reflects that we have one minister too many, it wasn't until the pm himself saw the packed trains while going to work one day (as reported in the papers) that he decided to sort the transport woes.....

there are worse things which can happen, watching porn is no biggie, as long as he isn't in it.....even if he shakes himself, it's not an unusual activity, so take a chill pill and keep the mental state strong...depression and other mental illness can be passed through genetics, usually females...so take care...

So... let's do some simple calculations
2 years of NS = 20 years old
4 years of Yale = 24 years old
9 months in UN = 25 years old
x2 MBA = 25 + 4 = 29 years old
So 32 - 29 = 3 years
A guys with 3 years of actual working experience will head central division.
Well, with a lame police force that cannot arrest anyone unless grievous hurt is done, who needs the police force anyway.you left out the period when he was seconded to moe for like 2 yrs?

it’s true that you ought to do something you are keen in…but bear in mind it doesn’t always pay off…once you mature further you’ll have different perspective…life sciences is a tough call, unless you are prepared to go all the way to phd level, it’s unlikely you’ll do anything more than administrative or even sales function….as phillip yeo once said, only a-star smarties get to do research, local uni life science grads are fit to wash test tubes….harsh indeed but pretty true, research work requires phd….

obama should be the more electable if running against the republicans…simply because he’s less of a turn off compare to clinton….but the democrat leadership prefers clinton to oba…...looking at the demographics, obama’s supporters are mostly the younger group but they do not make up enough numbers….looks like oprah needs to do another round of tour…..

ron paul is probably one of the more anti-establishment politicians....he refuses to receive pension when he retires and paid in full his childrens' education because students' loan are taxpayer subsidised....something our local politicians should emulate rather than moan about not having enough money....
but alas, corporate greed will keep him out of the race because he doesn't suck up to the lobbists.....hence his lack of funds to mount his campaign....

my bet would be on a republican presidency next term...no doubt many want change including the republicans, but i believe a good number still cannot accept either a black or a woman in the white house...the democrats best hope is edwards but clearly he won't be getting the party nomination...
obama is likeable, but too greenhorn...hilary is a turn-off, overly aggressive and has the persona of the cold calculated lady boss from hell....either of these 2 will get the nomination to run against the republican...
it will not be so much about what the republican can offer but if the democrat can persuade the 'mainstream' to overlook either skin or gender....

Commander's job is more of staff/planning and policy work. He's not appointed CO of STAR or anything..how can that be, they have positions for paperwork...not command position...it's supposed to be a position of respect....you lead people, not computers.....his un posting was for like 9 mths? as long as you go through ocs, so it's like an internship...another couple of years seconded outside the force doing unrelated work so that cuts down his experience in the force isn't it?
age is a natural filter for experience, this chap may be a prodigy of sorts but that alone his no measure of capable leadership..that said, i don't know if he is not.....
if the govt is wondering why it's not easy to keep civil servants, this is why...the are pissing off folks who are no less equal but overlooked because they don't carry the scholar tag....so money is not everything ya....

a police division is getting a 32 yr old police scholar as commander, while i'm for merit based promotion, this one i feel is pushing a little too far....the chap was reported to have spent some time in the education and foreign ministry as well...he's cited for his strong intellect.....
i guess experience matters little these days.....pencil pushing is top criterion....just as schools with young principals, these scholar types tend to be brash and overbearing.....
strangely while the govt is preaching against revolving door politics for fear of instability, it doesn't seem to apply to the service....new broom sweeps clean and every new head will want to bring about their style of leadership and with the average span of 4 years before the next one comes along, it can get pretty disruptive...the up side is renewal.......
