Just warning you guys. It happened to me today, just awhile ago. As I was exiting the century square carpark turning right towards the barrier, I noticed a malay male in his early 20s standing behind a pillar. As I drove pass him, all of a sudden he smacked the back of my car and was crouching. Naturally I got out of my car and asked him what happened. He claimed I had ran over his foot and showed me a cut on his toe.
I asked him if he needed me to send him to a doctors and he said OK. So I asked him where his car was(i mean he was in an underground carpark. Why would you be there if you did not have a car?) He said his supervisor "dropped him off" he has no car. This is when I got suspicious.
He then said nevermind just give him 10$ to see a doctor. So I told him no way i was giving him cause it obviously wasnt my fault (he was standing behind a pillar. If I hit him I obviously would have hit the pillar). He wouldn't let me leave and kept asking me how then how then wanna send him to hospital now ?
I told him it wasn't my fault and I wasn't going to pay but he just wouldn't leave me alone and showed me his toe. He then went to rub his cut and showed me some blood. With all the cars waiting to exit and my car blocking off the traffic in the carpark, I reluctantly handed him 10$ to which he replid "ok thanks" and walked off like nothing happened.
So i just want to warn you guys about this hopefully it doesn't happen to anyone. One again the fella is a Malay male roughly in his twenties. He was wearing a T-shirt and jeans with slippers.

hey guys chill yo... to gabrielhrteo I already have a car I'm thinking of upgrading. But no rush, I'm waiting to take a look at the new MarkX cause ultimately I love the MarkX. To the people who suggest the M5 or Volvo, as much as I would love to own those cars, I don't think i come anywhere close with 100k. Frankly speaking i love the mini however I am quite big sized so i would look weird with a Mini. In the worse case scenario I won't be changing my ride though I really wish to.

If this GPS system does come into play, from what i know a GPS system can even tell what speed you are travelling at, which means you can be charged for speeding any time any place ? another way to suck money.
Secondly, for those who say stop buying cars, have you ever taken into consideration of people who NEED cars rather than WANT cars ? example sales executives who do not have the luxury of travelling time inbetween meetings and appointments.
How will this system affect Taxi's who drive around looking for customers ? will the cost be brought forward to them ? If Yes isn't it LPPL cause even if i take a cab i pay for it, so what's the difference with owning a car ? thirdly, if what everyone predicts of public transport increasing and stuff, wouldn't it be more economical for a family to get a small car rather than all 4 - 5 members (presumably) paying for the fares which could amount to a very high price.

I'll continue looking around as i stated above I'm in no rush =) Will take a look at the new models of the Mazda 6 and ford. Might wait to see the new markX however with the current model already hitting 100k not sure if the new one will exceed my budget. The recent plunge in COE is quite tempting though...

Hi guys ! Anyone here a fellow meat lover like me ? just wondering if anyone knows anywhere that offers shabushabu or sukiyaki buffet or even bbq buffet ! Non buffet welcome too =)
For starters Daidomon at keypoint mall (opposite concourse) has great yakiniku the price should be 60++ per person if I'm not wrong
Waraku used to offer Sukiyaki buffet but it has ended. They still offer a la carte sukiyaki
Ju shin Jung (theres one beside waraku at east coast. Beside long beach) Offers BBQ (Yakiniku?) I do not know what you call it casue it's korean BBQ. price is pretty reasonable. Buffet only during lunchtime with selection of chicken and pork only.
Anyone can recommend more joints ?

that is true.. but what those cc teaches are for old folks to maintain health. I am looking for a class whereby the teachings will be useful for example teaching abt the chi and stuff. i really doubt those morning/evening taichi classes focus on anything except movements.
Its not just self defence i want. I want the essence of the style and the uniqueness the style holds that other styles cannot teach. If it's purely self defence i want i can just pick up a random martial artEdited by Rynax 29 Sep `07, 7:27PM

Hi , I'm driving a kia sportage and the FC is quite bad, +i feel the pick up is quite slow, probably because its a heavy car. Is there anything i can do to improve the power/pick up of the car and/or reduce FC. I know you guys say being light footed will help but the pick up is really slow if im light footed.
I'm noob at this that's why i need the pros here to tell me what i can do
Be it bringing it to get mod/install stuff or maybe simple tips. Please include cost if you recommend a mod. Thanks !

Can anyone recommend me a good salon. Budget of about 35 and below cut + wash ? I want a salon that specialises or can cut a more "caucasian" hairstyle. Like those simple brush back hairstyle for medium length hair.
I went to Storm and Reds. Firstly most hair stylists don't speak english. So there's a language barrier between us. Secondly after i explain and point out the hairstyle i want, even if its from a magazine, they will say okokok ! and after that it turns out totally different. Best part is they can somehow add their own "japanese spiky hair" touch into cutting the hairstyle i want. and eventually it becomes the messy spike + long fringe hair, instead of a brush back hair.
I dislike salons that love to spike or layer/thin my hair a lot. I had THICK "medium length" hair as described in most magazines though most people call it long, after going to reds, they thinned my hair so much, it became so flat looking and those typical side parting, long fringe.
So can anyone recommend to me a good salon that isn't the typical only know how 2 cut the latest japanese hairstyles salon ?
