That being the case, I hope you do realize that what you're planning on doing is illegal in most states. Do a Google search on the terms "straw purchase" and "firearm". The BATFE takes a very dim view of straw purchases and your friend will very likely end up doing time in Club Fed if caught. There will also be penalties in store for you.
What state are you located in? Why not just wait until you're 18 and then purchase said assault rifle legally?
That's just a thought. I'm 24 but not allowed to own firearms here in the US.
I'll probably just go out with him for shoots. Airsoft is enough for me in my house. Afterall, it still hurts when shot in the eye... ;)
I'm in Kansas btw... where are u? I've seen some of your photos in the "Overseas singaporeans" topic.

rofl...
Used to be able to bring in illegally before Sept 11 when baggage checks and security not tat hyped up yet.
Airsoft... when u get hit by it, it depends on the range and velocity of the bb. i've still have 4 welts on my thighs after getting shot by a pimped up M249 SAW at around 120ft. And that was from last sunday.

dun underestimate RMAF... after seeing their Su-30s fly during LIMA'07, our f-15s will lose out in a dogfight with it.
RSAF officers were present there... their faces were grim when they saw the Su-30s flipping around in the air. Prolly wondering if the eagles were the right choice to procure as Su-30s are eagle killers...
