That will depend on your ice setup.
Take note that installing a secondary player may affect your system.
You will definately have to plug into your existing amplifier then to your speakers.
In order to do so, will need to use Y-connectors for the RCAs. When using multiple connectors, it may cost distortion.
Unless you want to bypass your amps and go direct to the speakers like stock setup.
You will not be getting the type of sound effect which you want when playing Dvds.
There are some China brands costing around 450 to 600 includes installation. Look around. Are you looking for in-dash or 2din? or can buy second hand from those PI owners as majority fitted with China brand player and will upgrade soon.
If you want to use the power of the amps, I would rather you upgrade your player to a better quality and sell away you old CD player.
May consider Pioneer 6050 or alpine 201. If budget not an issue..go for F1....
Think of what type of setup and sound do you want first. SQ, Streetbass or SPL.
You will need to provide more details about your current setup. Or alternatively, do visit sgsoundsystem or sgcaraudio and check with the gurus over there.

It's very easy...
You think those finance company only one man show is it??
They have people on the lookout everyday.
Its part of their job to locate and repo the car.
They have a list of car numbers, make and model. They can recce singapore island wide or maybe your luck is up and they find you faster.
Unless you drive and hide it in JB like what 1 cb kia from ex SLC.
Own alot of people $$ and run to hide in JB...
Now dunno whats the status le.

other than that, speed limits in the suburb are around 60KM/H and there are cameras that enforce that here as well. down here big brother is always watching...
very hard to speed here ar!Charge a toll... its ok... Singapore more high tech. Saw the ERP when I exited out to PIE.
Sooner or later, LTA will on the switch and it will be time for them to earn back what they spent to built the tunnels.
I saw the speed cams. Its just 100m before the PIE exit. 3 black box. 1 on each lane.
I took my own sweet time travel at 40 to find out where it is.
The single white cam, I believe is LTA cams to check on traffic.
There are a few more cams attached to the walls which see car's butt.. I believe its also to chk on traffic.

Its only 1.5km... 70km/h is fine for there.
How long do you need to cross that underpass 1min?
Due to safety reasons and short distance, it is still ok.
Drove thru there today from ECP to PIE. Quite fast and definately quiter than CTE underpass.
So many signs reading 70km/h & Speed camera ahead warning.
The guy who drove 140... is he trying to be the No.1 to kenna chop license from KPE??

No point complaining la... at the end of the day, still will increase de..
Vote more for the whites and the more we will pay
15 yrs ago when a norma 1.6 car can cost around 100k, they say owning a car means you are rich.
Now 1.6 car cost around 50k, they still stay you are rich..y? Coz can pay for all the stupid ERPs, Summons, parking charges, etc etc...
Even if road tax discount 8%, they got that covered from the ERPs.
Now still says must pay more to retain the "outstanding" minis-ster.
The public will be the one coughing out more $$.
So when the next GE comes, you all should know who to vote..right?
Time to scrap the car..which is what I am doing end of this mth.
If a deskbound job, no point getting a car. Unless got spare cash to throw out.

You should keep some pics of the damage.
For such minor damage such as bumper which involve 20-30km/h, its consider minor.
Since now is already coming november, get your insurance company tostep in and keep bugging them. getting a laywer by yourself would have cost much more.
The 3.5k repair is too much. He could have work together with the car repair shop to eat more $. Or you may have given him free addtional body kits.
Get them to show the damage list and get your insurance company to review it.
Judging by how you say of the damage, seems like only bumper got hit,
That type of incident I do not believe will include the need to change the car boot with it.
Worst come to worst, pay thru you insurace company, at the most is pay the excess. 3.5k damage if I remember correctly, affect 10 - 20% NCD but no need to top up addtional as below 10k claim.
You should have stated to pay for the repair at your prefered workshop coz at the end of the day, you hit his rear bumper, and its gonna be 90% your fault.
If you had gone thru this method, will cost you less than 600 for bumper and paint unless that guy is driving a mercs or higher end luxury car.

Well, TS can try to buy OPC Getz 1.0
A friend of my spend about $600 a mth for petrol+installment+parking+insurance+road tax
Monthly run only 1000km +/-.
Road tax only about $100 per yr
Insurance only $1300 - ( 26 yr old 0%NCD )NTUC
If its an OPC maybe can survive on 500 a mth.
Other than that, forget it.
But dun forget wear n tear, like tyres, brakes, bulbs, servicing,
On average need to set aside about $100 per mth for these things.

A coupe you want with that type of budget.
I can only think of Daihatsu Copen.
Depending on your age, 0% NCD insurance for 25-27 is around $3k a yr.
Road tax, less than $500 a yr.
Car price around 65k on the average.
For a 1.5k budget, just get a normal 1.6 sedan will do, coz for a coupe, the insurance will be a killer.
Maybe after you have earn 50% NCD, 1.5k will fit the bill.
Coz my fren who just bought a copen with 10% downpayment, spends around $1.5k per mth on the average. Includes, parking, petrol, cashcards.
Not including servicings and misc.
Coupe like MX5 or MRS, forget it, those higher ends will be a killer with 1.5k budget.

No point venting your anger here as that Driver will not know.
In that kind of scenario it all depends on whether you want to play with him all the way.
In merging lane situation, as long as you can prove that you are ahead of the other car which is trying to merge in, meaning as long as your car head is most front, with the other car front near your door, dun think so much already, bang in and start the claim.
The situation you encounter is quite common, try going into woodland checkpoint during peak hours with the JB cars, all squeeze untill like no air like that.
Get used to it... this kind of thing is just live and let go.. no point saying out unless the damage is done.
At the most is from your car seat, curse and swear that his lexus will be the next car to wrap around a tree or lampost.. end of story.
lolz.

Cats don't scratch metallic objects. They are not stupid to break their nails.
Cat pee on cars? I've not heard of that in my estate, cause cats like to dig a hole in the soil to pee and then cover it up. Unless he is making a scent marking. How come no one complain about bird sh!t on car. That's pretty bad too.Bird's dropping, I hate it.. Make some scratches on the car already.
Never clean it in time when its wet and scratches comes out.
Tried using water and car shampoo to remove, still got the scratches.
Damn.. these birds nowadays really like to add small stone into their diet.

Yes, it is true that the insurance is around 5% - 10%higher than the rest of the 1.6 jap cars around the price range of 50k.
Mainly due to the price of the spare parts in case of replacement.
Take for eg. front bumper, lancer cost $350...corollas only around $250.
I changed before and was shocked that its more ex than corollas from outside workshop. Parts is from the distributer near Lavender.
Probably mitsubishi wants to mantain its "high price", like Hondas
If really do a comparison of going back to agents to refit, C & C charges are one of the highest compare to BM or TC.
I asked for quote for TS1.6 and its around $50 cheaper than lancer.
