If it is possible, download endnote.
You can do referencing and also read the abstract from it. My PhD friends just connect to pubmed and read it off there... If useful then put it in the endnote library and you can use it for referencing.
Pubmed is the largest collection of medical journal, virtually all the major journals you need is in it.
Except all the really small and useless journals. Those with low or little impact factor not worth your time.
If you need more journals, just read a good review journal and copy all the good reference from the back!

Don't worry lah.
Just go in and don't create too much problem. With some luck, you might even go to a unit/vocation that let you go home everyday.
Hated NS when I entered, but remembered it for the rest of my life. An experience only those who went through will understand.
Don't be a smart alex and follow instructions, especially those on safety and you will be ok.

Actually, I was this kind of guy. A bit stupid only can talk facts and can not make gals happy.
Deep down, I think he is also looking for someone who can show him how to have a good time. Bring him out. Let him get loose and break the tension between you two.
Don't change yourself... except the player part.... and be happy around him. Don't need to soo stressed about it cos at the end of the day, he is happy to be around you.

this thing has blown up so big, there is not gracefull way for either side to back down ... how can this chap get a presidential pardon when we've been hanging our own chappies ? .... or why should this chap get a goodbye hug from his mom when other chaps hanged previously had to follow the no contact rule ? ...
i think it's a good lesson in the destructive power of the (aussie) press, and what over sensationalism can do ....
perhaps if things were nice and quiet from the start ... a quiet word from one FM to the next and the chap may just have to rot away for the rest of his life in changi prison (on Singapore tax-payers expense), it is sad ... but with this kind of scrutiny, there is no way out but to execute the chappie ....

Presidential pardon just means that the president is kind and decide to not let you die. It does not mean that singapore's law is lax or anything like that.
All Nathan has to do is just let him don't die and the Aussies will be happy and singapore Government also can save face.

Several reason why the canal will not be a threat.
1. Ships are different from what they are 100 years ago when raffles came. They can travel for miles without stopping. Why bother to have a port of call that does not have the infrastructure and need to be established when there is one easily available.
2. But having the canal, Thailand will be seriously compromsing their control in the south especially with a muslim south and a buddist north. Remeber the 2003-4 uprising in the south of thailand b4 the tsunami thingy started? Doubt the thais wanna to do something like that. Even with China's backing.
3. Singapore is no more the same Singapore when we were independent where we are the mainly entrepot state like Hong Kong. Our government has concentrated on other stuffs such as manufacturing and finanical services. All these are not depend on the shipping lines. At the same time, airplanes with more important airports are more important to trade.
4. Agreed Mynamar government is a little crazy, then if u study burmese history all their kings abdicate as a result of going crazy near the end of their rule.
Maybe they have their reason for changing their capital?? No idea
why though.
