i have to agree with you on this.singapore's value lies in the stability and security which PAP brought about. the size and composition of the population (made up of immigrants who came in search of a better life) has made in such a way that this is not one country meant for freedom and division.

if you go to simlim, there're now many stalls selling china phones, most of which look like imitations of nokia, SE, samsung models... but they've more functions than the ones they imitate, and graphics are not bad.
forums in china claim that these phones are good and reliable. however, i wanna ask anyone here who owns for your opinion.
the one that looks like iphone is quite fun actually...

but let's be honest, doesn't it mark the end of the reform party? it was his vehicle, and now there's no driver.
other members are too mild or too uninvolved.
pity that JBJ didn't get a chance to reform anything yet.

that's so third world... like how certain models from 1980s are still being produced in china (VW santana) and south america (VW golf, nissan sunny B13...)i don't see any of the current taxi models that we have on the road staying for such a long period of time...
