Aircraft carriers also needs alot of manpower and resources to maintain even if it is a small one like what the RN is currently using. Manpower is something which we cannot afford as activating NSmen for Carrier ops will not be ideal. Carrier Ops requires long and hard training.
We also do not have any where to sail our carrier to. A carrier is consider to be offensive, our neighbours certainly won't want this ship any where near them. There will also be political problems as our neighbours will suspect our intentions. Carriers are certainly not ideal for patrolling SLOC. We will also need escort vessels to protect the carrier.
Thus it will be very unrealistic to have a carrier in RSN, at least for the next 20 years.

The plane which you have seen in the video clip is a test plane and not a production version of the F-16. Thus we will not be able to buy it.
Secondly if we are to modify our existing F-16s then it will not be cost effective at all as we will be the only AF in the world doing so. The cost will be astronomical.

With all the official MRT tunneling, construction of underground expressways, shopping malls, ammo dump and even the massive sewage system. I have reason to suspect that not all of these underground constructions are 100% civilian in nature(not including the ammo dump of course).
In land scarce Singapore, the only way is to go high and deep. We have build pretty high buildings for almost all our surface constructions inclusive of military ones, so there is little reason to believe that we didn't build deep underground facilities for military purposes other than the ammo dump.

This is a feasible idea. The MRT network by then will cease to be a form public transport and can act as a transport for the war effort by transporting personnel and supplies(less bulky types). It is likely that the road networks will be clogged with vehicles with people escaping to overseas, on the way home or to shelters. The underground stations can act as air raid shelters.
However, for those above ground tracks will not be suitable as it is vulnerable to air and long range rocket attacks.

In my opinion, there is a possibility that we already have a small force of armed combat regular soldiers taking part in combating militants in Iraq and Afganistan.
This is feasible as Mindef is very likely to cover-up the news of such a deployment. This may be due to political considerations as it will be a political disaster is the public know that one of our soldiers died there when the primary mission of SAF is to defend Singapore.
This way we can gain combat experience with this kind of warfare using IEDs and ambushes, something which SAF have little real experience in.
