TIB 565 U as training bus with its EDS at Bt Panjang Int. (Timing at my handphone shot photo) If ever I have my digital camera with me, then it won't turn out to be in this quality... oh.png

Purposely don't want to crop because of the stamp date/time and the quality of this photo here... =.="

Any idea whether this bus did Service 700 before that? Cos AFAIK and seen, usually TIB474Z will crossover from Service 700A to NR8 after its last trip (not Service 700A last bus) back to Bt Panjang Int.. (sometimes with NR8 desto, sometimes don't)

They should stick back to the original format leh, looks nicer.

Or maybe because we're too used to having number on the left. Hmm...

Lolx... Having number on the left/right is one thing... How BIG (2x) the font is that dominates the display space available is another thing.. Compare TIB1034D with the newer SMBs (Service number on the right), which one you prefer? (Or in fact the rest of you here prefer)

Lolx...  Actually of all the different EDS I have seen so far down here, I still rather prefer Hanover one like TIB1034D...

      Font.................................................................Nicer
Difficulties in snapping the EDS shot ........ Easy*
Programming of the Service Number......... Easy (I guess it's easier than LAWO?)
SLs changing the EDS code....................... Easy (I guess it's easier than LAWO?)

*(Either you get it full, or no EDS at all, no half half one)

Eeee.... SMRT ones (the one which OceanE took for SMB9L that type one) looks so ugly and my 1st look of that EDS, I laughed at it.. cool-air EDS fonts still better wink.png

      I have a formula for this... icon_lol.gif

Formula 1 (F1) = Inconvenience for public transport + Incurred losses for some companies

Substitude F1 into the formula below:

Singaporeans = F1 * (Transport fare + Retrenchment + Probability of getting bonus)

    • AFAIK, there's a Christian Bookstore at somewhere in Level 3 inside West Mall...

Or if you live at Jurong West area, you can just drop by Attributes bookstore inside CHC during weekends..

Sad to say that Bt Panjang (where I live) does not have it..

just a penny of my thoughts.

SMB1H also removed its WAB logo on the windscreen in case some of you never notice about it.. But their ETA board on the bus stops still indicate a WAB logo when the next Service 190 bus is a OC500LE... icon_lol.gif

      Service 960 - Needs additional 4 buses
      (0630 - 1130 hrs) (Marina Centre Bound)
      (1730 - 2330 hrs) (Woodlands Bound)

      Recommendations:
Additional Feeder Service to serve Zhenghua Secondary School and Green Ridge Primary School.
A new service to North East Area (Hougang, Sengkang, Punggol)
A new service to Central (Toa Payoh, Ang Mo Kio, Bishan)
A new service to East (Tampines, Pasir Ris, Bedok)

Bus services in Bukit Panjang should be perfect with all these. =)

Service 190 should extend its last bus operating hours from New Bridge Rd terminal!!

You should also compare Service 960 with Service 980.. Need more bendies for Service 980 especially Sunday night from 9pm till last bus..

I miss the good old times when TIBS Service 345 pass by GreenRidge Primary School.. And I agree for your part for Zhenghua Secondary School.. OT a bit, there were a few occasions whereby a lot of students were late for morning assembly due to LRT breakdown..

How I wish bus services in Bt Panjang be perfect with all these you stated above but I guess it's totally fat hope mostly thanks to SMRT Buses.. Already they (SMRT Buses) have disappointed us a lot just through Service 190, 960 and 966 alone.. icon_evil.gif
