But i think they would still need a light tank. The Stryker perhaps?the israelis has sold everything from radar to missile to uav, but the merkava is one thing they haven't put in their export list.
Think they won't sell it anyway.

Originally posted by datafuser:The F-35's ordnance is limited only when bombs are carried internally for stealth. If you compare the F-35 with older fighters such as F-15 and F-16 in terms of bombs carried internally, the F-35 wins hands down.
Count the bombs that can be carried externally as well, then the F-35's bomb-carrying capacity is pretty impressive.

this picture should explain all.

damn! I'm late! OMG I'm so excited!
oh the latest reply to the malaysian thread was saying they are jealous. They should.
The frontal turret armour of the A4 seems disturbing, are they going to upgrade it to at least the same sloping one as the A5?
Think they are sticking to L44 main gun, L55 barrel too long also very clumsy.

I'm quite surprised, is the sabot effective against rotary-wing compared to a heat round?

usually in western tank designs, the ammunition storage area has panels that blow outwards to prevent internal explosion and cook off. Russian tank designs don't have this feature, so in movies we always see the whole round round turret of T-series fly off.

why do we need a long range aircraft for ? ... take out a map of south east asia and the answer'd be clear, no ? ...
that country has the potential to become a real basket case one day, and as a terrorist or fundamentalist haven it'll be worse for us and the entire region than 10 Iraqs or Afghanistans ...the fact that we have KC-135 is quite suggestive =)

I think ROCs fly Mirage 2000s not Rafales - anyone , please correct if incorrect. No AF flies Rafales except French Air Force.
F15 air to air victories are against lesser opponents & aircraft - air superiority already established against opponents in most if not all cases. Pit it one to one with a well flown MIG 29 or SU30 and the outcome cud be quite different.
One will never have too much range. In almost every air war , range is always a problem because usually, the situation is usually never what was planned for .positive. Rafale can't find export market yet, only French AF and navy are using it.
