Many leave because they just can't stand the sight of dishonorable despots holding power (and holding on to power by persecuting the martyr Dr Chee Soon Juan) plus the fact that it is better to be a foreigner in this country than to be its citizens and the blame for that falls squarely on the shoulders of the despots.

In the old days, before the internet, the people only read propaganda. Now, they know the truth and the truth is, the despots make life difficult for the young Singaporeans while they take massive amounts of public money for themselves and their own children and support foreigners.
They should just call themelves FPAP - foreign people action party or the other f word, which would be appropriate as well.

Smart or Idiots? Taking money from Singaporeans and spend it on foreigners?

Honorable governments leave the money with the privaste sector to invest but dishonorable govenrments, like the despots here, grab the money and lose it to foreigners.
That is why there are no Sony or Samsung in this despotic country.

Not "imagine" but a fact, at least in terms of the multitude of them.
When I applied for a work permit to work in Thailand, it was really difficult and I got it only because the company (Thai public listed company,) showed proof that it was next to impossible to find Thais that could do my job.

Oil prices resume slide, falling sharply after US reports unexpected jump in crude supplies
NEW YORK (AP) -- Oil prices tumbled Wednesday, putting prices on track for a dizzying drop of more than $10 in just two days of frenzied trading.
==================
The down-move in oil and the up-tick in stock prices could be the start of a sustained trend or it could be a technical correction. At this point it is anyone's guess.There is the danger that the down move in oil is the start of sustained deflationary pressures.

Is it like asking whether if it is the Zimbabweans fault that Robert Mugabe is still the pres of Zimbabwe.
Sure, the techniques Robert Mugabe used and the techniques the dishonorable Singapore despot used are different but the objectives are the same.
You want to blame anyone, blame the public money grabbing despots.
