      mmmm...  but anyways, guess we wont find out.

      Hmm... I remember reading an article about suciders died halfway during the free fall before he even reaches the ground because the heart normally wouldn't be able to take the shock of the fall.

      So most likely his heart went into a shock before he reaches the ground, thus there is nothing going on his head.

      Then again, he's at the rebellion stage and to make it worst, his parents is strictly him too much. It not stupidity just like what arieswilson said, he is just unable to think right at that moment.

    • Congratulation... You are now half (and not one) step away from a divorce.

      Joke aside, what you did was very wrong. No one (notice I said no one and not no man) like having other people invading their privacy and you just did it by reading his sms.

      Even if you are his wife, it doesn't give you the rights to do so. Think about it, do you like it if your husband were to do the same to you?

      You have just tasted the forbidden fruit. From the moment you decided to peek at your husband's sms, the trust within your relationship is gone. Because of this, you might not be able to believe whatever he said even if it's the truth and you automatically assume all are lies and all negatives are the truth. Basically, you aren't able to think clearly.

      Let me ask you "Do you trust your husband?". Didn't you married him because you trusted him?

      I suggest you and your husband sit down and have a good talk. Trash out everything including your insecurity. It may all just be a misunderstanding. Be sure to remain calm throughout the talk. I'm sure every man will feel fustrated if you start to cry or shout at him and this makes it very difficult to convey thoughts between parties and will cause more misunderstandings instead.

      One thing - Do not mentioned the word 'Divorce', trust me it will breaks the relationship down even more that is if you still wants to save it.

      The answer to your question: Confront it but tactfully. Do not choose to pretend nothing ever happens cause it doesn't solve any problem and you will still meet the same problem later.

    • Argg... I just went to nearby comic connection to get a copy of Left 4 Dead and guess what? It's all sold out in about 3 hrs. I would have grab a copy earlier if not for some matters to attend to.

      To donkhead333: Forget about the demo, you're too late. The demo have ended today when the retail released at 1pm. You have to get the retail full version if you want to play it.

    • Kids generally don't have much money (or too stingy to pay) to buy games off shelf so they generally play the same shit over and over again. Yet, they can spent lots of money in LAN shop. confused.png

      Well, if you ask me, games these days doesn't really appeal me at all. Well, reason is they lack originality. All I see is clone after clone. If that's the case, I rather not spent any money on it.

      Another reason is the over demanding of hardware requirement. I wouldn't want to change my hardware every few months just to keep up with the games released.

      I remember the last game I bought was hellgate london and there was so much hype about it. Well, I regretted wasting my money on it. Ask around If you don't know the reason why I said it's a waste of money. Then again, I bet you bought a copy of it yourself. This taught me to think twice before I buy a game off shelf.

      Yup, Deino also right in games getting more and more expensive. That also made me think twice in buying, fearing it might end up the same as hellgate london.

      Anyway, I'm looking forward to left 4 dead. Tested the demo and seems pretty good (ok, I'm lying - It's great) to me. Gonna buy it by this week. Hope it live up to my expectation. tongue.png

    • I still remember there were once they changed the car model and I am not used to the clutch pedal, I stalled my car every few minutes for the entire lesson and my instructor was sighing all the way each time I stalled my car. I can see he is fustrated but yet, helpless cause he did all he could to teach me. That moment was hilarous though I did not laugh. icon_lol.gif

      Stalling of engine normally only happen in the circuit  though cause I'm not very good with half-clutch technique. However, I feel that I improved alot recently. On the road, I'm usually fine.

      I'm still L-plate driver though, upcoming december is my test date. I wonder can I pass with my sucky driving skill. icon_frown.gif

       Btw for the topic, if L-plate driver are not allowed on the road, what's make you think they (or we) can drive on it after we pass our test? Seriously, I rather me having problem with an instructor at my side to guide me on the road than without one.

      I doubt so since it didn't didn't stopped for 3 months. However, I'm amazed TS tolerated it for 3 months.

      If its me,

      First few time: do nothing just say stop or something

       If it's continue: Fk off/Bring up to teacher

      If its still doesn't stop after giving them warning: Whacking time

      Anyway TS, what is your current education level? Secondary sch?

      My advice: If bringing it up to teacher doesnt help, start whacking. That's how you deal with assholes.

      Likewise, there is nothing to be gained from posting this thread cause TS doesn't make any sense.

      Reason is because TS wrote that "By writing what God has done for each one of us, small or big, but it has got to be genuine of course."

      How do you even prove those are genuine? Don't tell me it's a hunch.

    • I don't think there any problem with the ram, although I do admit 1GB ram these days is not enough.

      But first I have to ask, do your laptop hang when you run those programs you have mentioned or do your laptop just hang out of nowhere?

      If you do think its those programs that are causing the problem, have you tried removing those programs to see if your laptop still hang?

      If the problem still persist after removing those programs, have you tried doing a system restore back to an earlier date (a date before you installed those programs)?

      Tell me the truth, is those programs pirated? icon_twisted.gif If so, please do a virus scan to ensure your computer is clean just to be safe and to be sure its not any hidden malwares that is causing the problem.

      Well, try the above and see if it fixes the problem.

      That's a very interesting paragraph of words you got there...

      So are you (or the person who said this) saying that those who believe in god will ultimately have a meaningful life even though, like january had said, that god-believer lived a shitty life?

      If yes, tell me about his meaningful life as in how meaningful can it be? Or can it be by believing in god till the end of life itself is something meaningful?

    • You see, in order to gain some speed, your computer decided to remove the 'switch to XX view' function.

      Joking aside, from what I deciphered (*sarcasm*), your main problem is with the missing 'switch to XX view' function.

      The additional problem (which I cannot comprehend why are your complaining about it) that you have with your computer is that it is loading the programs too fast.

      Solution for the main problem: I don't know and I don't really see there is any problem with it. Reason is because I like classic view better. Unless you die die also want the catergory view back, then maybe you can try searching the net for solution or just re-install your windows (<-Simplest way)

      Solution for the additional problem: Trade in your PC with an older generation computer. A Pentium 2 and below PC would best suit your need.

      I disagree, with them keep promoting married couples to have children, it would be impose an extra tax (in addition to the already have GST) for every condom purchase by married couples.

      That means all married couples will have maybe something like an additional identification on the existing ICs to indicate their married.

      Why do tourists still come to Singapore despite Singapore having nothing? It is to take a good laugh at us LIVE!

      After all, Singapore main natural resource is people therefore people is also it's main attraction.

    • Rule number 1 when comes to online/MMORPG - Treat all people online as someone who have the same gender as you.

      But seriously, a man creating a female character is common. One major reason is to trick suckers into giving free items to them. Well, the suckers (being a sucker) of course fall for it.

    • Just a gentle reminder to everyone, (taken from wiki)

      Seditious tendency.

      3. —(1) A seditious tendency is a tendency —
      (a) to bring into hatred or contempt or to excite disaffection against the Government;
      (b) to excite the citizens of Singapore or the residents in Singapore to attempt to procure in Singapore, the alteration, otherwise than by lawful means, of any matter as by law established;
      (c) to bring into hatred or contempt or to excite disaffection against the administration of justice in Singapore;

      (2) Notwithstanding subsection (1), any act, speech, words, publication or other thing shall not be deemed to be seditious by reason only that it has a tendency —

      (b) to point out errors or defects in the Government or the Constitution as by law established or in legislation or in the administration of justice with a view to the remedying of such errors or defects;
      (c) to persuade the citizens of Singapore or the residents in Singapore to attempt to procure by lawful means the alteration of any matter in Singapore; or
      (d) to point out, with a view to their removal, any matters producing or having a tendency to produce feelings of ill-will and enmity between different races or classes of the population of Singapore,
      if such act, speech, words, publication or other thing has not otherwise in fact a seditious tendency.

      (3) For the purpose of proving the commission of any offense under this Act, the intention of the person charged at the time he did or attempted to do or made any preparation to do or conspired with any person to do any act or uttered any seditious words or printed, published, sold, offered for sale, distributed, reproduced or imported any publication or did any other thing shall be deemed to be irrelevant if in fact such act had, or would, if done, have had, or such words, publication or thing had a seditious tendency.

      give MC = excused = no chin up = no death

      Well, I know my view is optimistic and you will say "wah, bullshit how can someone die just from chin up, even if no chin up he may also die"

      but, lets say even if he die, he won't die during NS (forgive me if I doesn't sounds right here). My point is the blame is on those people in NS who like to dig their grave and add one more tragedy into the history of NS. Why ask the guy with MC to do chin up?
