but back to topic.. i'm not shentonn clone. :)  anyway, since the distance between Bt Merah and RedHill MRT station quite far. sbs should operate new service between Bt Merah and Redhill Stn ? Maybe 132M? terminate at Redhill Stn.

and i wonder why Potong Pasir town got only 1 service? low demand or?

Potong Pasir one very simple~ which ward is it under?

    • Looking at the one from St Mikes, I dunno, but I think the route can be improved, hmm..

Instead of starting from Ah Hood Road, start from Whampoa Drive. Turn into Jln Bahagia. From Jln Bahagia turn into Jln Rajah. Then Ah Hood Rd. Then Balestier Road, then CTE.

    • I just had to reply~

      me:

1 bus to int in my town

1 bus to mrt station in my town

minimum 15 minutes to mrt station/int. maximum 40 minutes.

no nightriders, no premiums (one smrt one coming soon...), no chinatown direct, no cityshopper, no bus svcs after midnight (last bus from the nearest int ends at 11.30pm). nearest NR is 2.4km away.

dun think anyone can get better :D.

Usually i take these buses : 851 -> 969, but it's damn crowded in the morning when it comes from tampines...

851 to the stop before yishun int. take 169. the only way..i also do that :).

Right :\~ I'm sure SBST will be very happy about their drivers speeding.

Anyway I have a new feeder suggestion for St Michael's estate.

Service 299: St Michael's Term to Tan Tock Seng Hospital (loop)

      Whampoa Rd
      Whampoa Dr (non-stop)
      Jln Bahagia
      Kim Keat Rd
      Jln Rajah
      Ah Hood Rd
      Balestier Rd
Shan Rd (B01 Renci Hosp. and medicare ctr)
      Irrawaddy Rd (B01 TTSH)
      Sinaran Dr (B01 TTSH)
      Moulmein Rd
Jln Tan Tock Seng (B01 Communicable Disease Ctr 2, B03 TTSH Wards)
      Tan Tock Seng Link (non-stop)
Irrawaddy Rd (B02 Ministry of Home Affairs)
      Balestier Rd
Ah Hood Rd (B02 Bef Tai Gin Rd)
      Jln Rajah
      Kim Keat Rd
      Whampoa Rd

Alot of buses serve the area around TTSH (i.e. within walking distance) from St Mikes.

Hehe, only took it once, so I can't remember. And yeah, I'm very sure its called Buangkok Green Medical Park~ Hougangnites can confirm that for me? :D

May need to transfer some Darts to AMDEP for this service as my limited knowledge tells me that the roads there are not too big.

      Pls comment and rate!

Lol. I'd be jumping for joy if this came true :P. But the demand for this route might not be good...Yeah and the roads are not big unless you're talking about serving Binchang Drive and Pemimpin Drive only. (i.e. Bishan Int, Bishan Rd, St 22, Marymount Rd, Jln Pemimpin, Jln Binchang...then somehow loop back, but i don't see how is it possible :P)

Would be nice to amend this to serve Shunfu Estate/St22 also.

I take it at night when I take 52 from JE to Thomson Rd...approx 20-30 min~

Lol. Now only if SMRT's route planners read this thread ;)~ Or maybe someone free enough could write to them~!

    • 167 can be amended to ply the following route:

      Sembwang Vista

      Canberra Rd

      Canberra Link

Sembawang Rd (or even cutting into Yishun then Lentor Rd, then YCK)

      Upp Thomson Rd

      Yio Chu Kang Rd

      AMK Ave 6

      Marymount Road

Thomson Road (not turning into Marymount Lane like 74 and 852 but going straight)

      Then plying its original route.

What do you guys think? :) Firstly, 980 is duplicating its route outright from Novena onwards. Also, there are alot of services at Upp Thomson Rd and Thomson Road that ply almost the same route at 167 (by SBS and even to the same location, Bukit Merah Int).

    • Mediacorp is along Lornie Road/Thomson Road. Depending on where you're coming from.

You have to walk in quite a distance.
