i skipped school for dunno how many months making my own study and got a decent grade in Os last year..No Joke! just take the advantage of your own free time since no one will be dragging you for detentions/dragging sessions,punishing you and humiliating you in front of the whole cohort anymore...Must have the self discipline..

for own relatives i wouldnt want to charge any money lah.. just ask them to pay for my transport cost can le.. for eg. $50/mth  since im using a student concession pass that would leave like $30++ excess for me to buy watever i want lor..

considering that cost of that card cost $27.10 which gives only 10% discount on purchases that means you have to buy a total of $271 worth of books in order to gain back the initial cost of the card..  further more kino books care almost priced higher than competitors like borders and MPH..10% discount would only give you the price equilvilant to MPH's Borders' usual price only..in comparison with Popular privilege card only $10nia..they both carry latest hotsellers like the kite runner,thousand splendid suns...

but in some occasions certain hard to find books are only available in kino and their higher price is compensated by the excellent service and wide variety of selections..

 

so do you guys think kino's privilege card is worth it??

i see my family kids act like big shots when giving tuition to the younger ones..

i was working in United square for more than 2mths to kill my holidays while waiting for my JAE..  then there is one china girl age about 20++ only working under Andrew Cleaning Services as janitor even in the male toilets.. i feel so everyday to see her cleaning the toilets extending her arms into toilet bowls dirtied by disgusting old men who either didn't aimed properly or left heaps and pieces of excrement unflushed for her to clean up...

Working in united square i would visit the toilet frequently everyday for SMSing,shortbreaks and occasional nature calls.. i never failed to see this particular china girl scrubbing the mirrors,cleaning the cubicles everytime and the toilet is always maintained with the cleanliness standard of a 5star hotel..

Like a machine that never stops working especially on weekends..after male toilet clean female toilet,after female toilet clean handicapped toilet,after that clean childrens' toilet....She Never Stops! The toilet is always sparkling clean from the mirrors to the urinal to each and every single floortiles in the toilets..Sparkling!!

of soo many cleaners ive seen in other places never had i met such non-stopping/hardworking one..
tried to google this particular company called "Andrew cleaning services" in attempt to compliment this particular cleaners..but apparently it looks like they dont even have a website nor email account..

really hope that the company would compliment and reward this worker at least in monetary terms,. don't be just like other such companies that exploit all these foreign workers with low pays and chunk them with hard work..

to do my part each time after using the cubicle i would use tissue to clean up drips on the floor that had not been aimed properly..

and to those ppl who frequent united square please do your part to ensure the cleaniness clean up your own waste before leaving,, please stop letting the fine girl to clean up digusting excrement left behind by you...think of wad if the girl was your wife or someone of your kin...

Some expensive best selling books hor.. always print in only paperback versions and uses the paper arhh… waahhhh like rice paper like that not even the quality and durability of our daily foolscap paper.. paper material only how cheap only considering they are selling the book for $90++ cant be the reason of saving cost which ultimately causes them to do so..is it they do so so that the book can get damaged easily and readers have to buy new one earlier for replacement in order to boost their sales?? a cheap tatic?..but im looking forward to keeping the book long term.. but the paper arh.. waaa turned yellow in only 6mths (kept under dry conditions in enclosed bookshelves) ..somemore so expensive..no hardcover to lengthen the lifespan also…

any advise to prevent books in kept in enclosed bookshelves from turning yellow arh??
