This is what i think. Phra ngan is yin even though it is believed to be a buhdda, it is still yin. Why? As buhdda images should be upright and see the sun, why have to bury at cemetery and etc. So maybe 12mid is the time the phra ngan is strongest at his power.

2) Go do research on the amulet you saw at the shop, whats the material, what year, batch? If best, try to see if yer fren or kakis got a real one, take a look.

3) Finally, you decide with rationality.

Secondly, Which temple, Which maker, Year? Batch?

Crack amulets dont mean that their powers are cracked, it is just that over the time, our body heat and moisture from our sweat could caused it to decompose.

Some thais wear amulets that are crack if it is from their favourite Luang phor

Their disposing method is actually to recycle the amulet, make it into powder to make new amulet but usually only if they got a high number of such similar amulets or they wont do it.

This is ironic, thailand is a country with buhddism as her main religion. Yes, but one must never forget the fact that scams still exist and must not lower their awareness on such things.

Despite much religion, We do see war happening and we do see pple got killed and hurt.

To add on, The employment rate in thailand is not very good, not a very well-developed country so the TS should be aware of this fact.

What do pple do when they and their family are starving?

It is without doubt that this 2 stories are true but one shall never fall into it if he or she is aware of such things going on and take special attention to it.

Nevertheless, this show the greediness of the TS, good amulets dont come that cheap. Alot of fakes there are in thailand.
