all the -ve comments about Sg gals and good ones about Malaysia, Vietnam, Taiwan and China. Ask your honestly, have you ever made friends with each of these nationalities to understand them better? Perception and realities can be a big shock to you and soon you will realise that Sg gals are not bad afterall. At least they are honest and refined. Trust me.

still remember during my university days in the UK when this ang mo lab technician call me ‘U, Chinx’. Damn bast*#d and I still cannot forget this incident till these days. During those days, I am still a young innocent and helpless boy. If someone ever says that to me now, I am sure he will get shit from me. I bet.

There are also some problems on this "foreign talents" issue. The sg locals might not like foreign people living in their area.
I am talking more about the $ and social issue. Leave the Love issue aside 1st. Thanks for your feedback
better call several govt agencies up. nowadays, they try to differentiate Singaporean from foreigner so that Singaporean feel that they are treated better than foreigner. if your wife is a foreigner, there will be disadvantages even though she is married to you. Best is to convert her to PR safer.

we have to start to support local talent. we hear and see many taiwanese, japanes, korean export. about time that we want these countries to hear and see many of our export. l still like tanya and kit chan for their bilingualism and the style they exude. more cosmopolitan and not cheena type. not those teeny popper type and dress like flower and behave like clown.

stupeed fellow. even you think it is common that hair falls on food, which many will agree, you dont have to tell an angry person that it is common. no brain. think by telling an angry person that it is common for hair to fall on food will make the angry person happy and satisfied? even if u dont want to say sorry thinking that it is not the hair of the staff and likely the hair from somewhere and someone’s else, just politely say that ok you see that the hair on the food and offer a replacement to close the case mah. some of these service staff really no brainer. use mouth without using brain.

aiyah, all nationalities complain lah. not just singaporean. their ways to complain may be different. some stage strike, some gather together and burn images of the public figure (see on newspaper), some write to newspaper, so many forms. Some Singaporean complain but i think not so professional and gentleman leh. they raise their voice and sound like fighting. complain also can be and must be constructive and professional mah. otherwise how do people take your complain seriously.

attitude... we chinese like to pick "bean from a bowl of bean" and
differentiate them....
trust me...it is not just we Chinese or Asian or ... It is the same worldwide. Nation tends to find superiority over another nation. If you ever know any friend from Europe, with so many countries in Europe, they will tell you the same thing...their country is better than their neighbouring country. they mock about their neighbours also. So it is not an Asian thing. It is a worldwide phenomena.

i received a call on Thursday from a lady who spoke in perfect Chinese. Sounds like from China and claiming to be representation of so and so media (vaguely is translated as Asia Radio) and asked if I can spend a few minutes of my time over the phone. I replied no but she insisted that it takes only a couple of minutes and so why cannot. I politely and persistently say no and she sounded a little bit unhappy. Damn…all these people. I am especially wary if they are China people. sorry, dont mean to be prejudice. just being careful of foreigner.
