Aiyo.....why SGforums become this format... Really hate it..

I have being playing legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess for past 2 weeks. Quite Shiok.

Over 40 hours of gameplay...still stuck in final dungeon...Sigh sigh...

Either the my skill is getting worse or the game design is getting more challenging?? Hmm .. ....

If can't win the game, mayb can go www.gamefaqs.com to search for FAQ loh?? Mayb will have some tips?

This is what I usually do.

Upgrading the system 

When I first play Mario striker, the nintendo wii couldn't detect my disc. I knownintendo wii couldn't detect my disc because, the music and image of the game didn't appear at the wii main page. (you know the images that appears after the CD is read?? 1st window top left of the screen) So I try my luck to click on the top left of the screen, see what will happen. Then there is this message prompts me need to update some system thingy. I click 'yes' . Then a message box saying the system is updating. I hold on for few seconds Then go back to main page. The wii is reading the disc coz I can see the images and music comes up in the top left hand corner as per normal. I think some game (esp. new ones) will require us to upgrade the system. I believe that the software is in the game disc itself. So whenever encounter problem, when disc can't be read, can click the top left hand window as per normal, see gt prompt you to upgrade or not.

Using mircoSD card.

Anyone try playing MP3 or opening JPEG files using SD card??

I using mirco SD. That means I put my mirco SD card into a adaptor then put inside WII. It says no picture/music file detected.How come?? Does WII oni accept a SD card and not a Mirco SD card?? Anyone try before using mirco SD card??

I don't want to waste money buy a SD card when the problem actually lies in my wii system. Since I already have 2X 1G mirco SD card..

After upgrade, then can read it liaoz. So happy,. So mayb first disc also can play. Sigh.. Nvm, take it as a lesson learnt..

The graphic , I have nothing to complain. Very sharp and stylo milo.
Each arena is a street soccer court size.
It is basically any average soccer game but with those fanciful power add-ons loh. Each charactor can trigger a move with the d-pad.
This add on mayb fun as a party game? I dunno.

One interesting feature is each charactor have this abilty called megashot. (can't rem the name..or is it megastrike? Hmm....but never mind la.) hold B button, then hold long enough , a gauge will appear, then you press the buttons while the gauge reach certain point. after activate liao, will play one stylo milo scene each charactor have different animation. But actually no matter who use it, also same effect. Multiple balls will be shot toward the goalkeeper. Then the screen switch to the first person perspective from the point of view of the goalie. then have to use wii remote and point and press A at the balls that appear on the screen to block them.
I like this very much coz the megastrike/mega shot animation is very stylo milo.

I playing it alone. So mayb other players may find other features of the game more interesting. For me, I am more of a graphic sort of guy. And I am not someone into sports games (so why I buy this in first place?? I am a Mario fan , mayb that's why).
So if you are looking for a soccer game with charactors with special moves, with powerups (not many variations, mayb 4-6? ) , cool graphics, then probably you would want to get this. Otherwise, jus play winning 11 will do.
I have oni play it for about 50minutes, mayb there are more feature I am not aware of.

Tomb raider is a remake of the first tomb raider. With enhance graphics and some other feature that make use of the wii functions like breaking rocks with a chisels, or brushing dirt off walls for clues, swinging the nuchuke for the grapple hook. So it is be quite interesting for a tomb raider fan.

tenkaichi part 3's fighting system is slightly different. The story mode follows exactly the same route as part 2. (saiyan saga , freeza saga etc unti buu saga) the way you execute the moves in part 3 are more identical to the actual move. For example kamekameha in part 2 is pull back then push forward, part 3 is you have to hold the nuchuke and wiiote in one hand and push forward like the actual kamehameha. Graphic wise, part 3 is much better than part 2.
But I won't advise buying part 3 if you already own part 2. Better to use the money to try some other games. But if you really die hard DBZ fan, then must buy. Coz got some new stages and charactors.

regarding online system, sorie, i have yet to try le.

Currently fave family game: Mario party 8.
Currently fave game for adult , I personally prefer games that allows me to explore and find new stuff so, these are currently my fave: tomb raider anniversary, prince of Persia. Mario galaxy's graphic seems kiddish, but some stage can prove to be very challenging.
Fighting games, I am currently playing the dragonball tenkaichi series. Series 3's graphic and interaction interface is gratly enhanced.

I am currently working in Thailand and bangkok is selling it for about 150SGD!! Is it that expensive??

I not saying i only want my wii to last for 2 weeks. What I saying is if you can play it for 2 weeks without any problem, probably that means the set is ok.

Probably it is a modified set, that's why the warranty not from nintendo but from the shop itself?? That's why only short term. This I really not sure le.
But even under warranty, when you send in for repair, the shop owner say this part or that part spolit need to pay dunno how much, waranty not cover, you also suck thumb , right?
Anyway, I felt if can tahan 2 weeks not spolit, I think is okay already la.

I bought my wii system in Bangkok,Thailand. It is a europe model.
Cost around 700sgd free 10 non original games, one single controller. It is mod to play pirated games. However I have no idea what they do to mod it. I just pay then take. So sorry.
I have check with friend that it cost about 500 sgd to purchase a wii in singapore. But it is a japan model. That means the interface is in japanese , I bought it about 2 weeks ago, so the price might have flatuate.

I have bought a nintendo wii for over 2 weeks.
I choose nintendo wii over PS3 as I was looking for a new gaming experience.
The final verdict?
Nintendo wii definitely provide a whole new gaming experience!
Initially, I thought the controller can at most simulate something like a gun and be fun for playing shooting games.
But NO! It was so much much more!!
The controller itself could detect slashing, swing movement ,pushing, pulling, even minor tilting. And of course to act as a gun for first person shooter. So it provide a whole new perception to gaming.
The controller itself comes with a speaker. So expect to hear swords clanking, gunshots , laser beeps coming right from your hand.
So far , I have played Tomb raider, prince of persia , mario galaxy , legend of zelda twilight princess , wii sports , resident evil on wii.
The console design is sleek and attractive. It is very light weight also.
It is definitely better than any console on the market right now!
A great must buy!
Words could not express the new gaming experience i experience.
