Creationism is NOT a Scientific theory and should never be taught side-by-side with Evolution. That has already been settled in the US way back although some of the more backward thinking schools refuses to change.

Creationism can alternatively be taught under 'religion' or 'mythology'.

What I feel is that children should not be taught religion until they are more mature. THey should first be taught Critical thinking skills and skepticism and then decide on and choose the religion that they are drawn to on their own will without any brainwashing during their more innocent years.

What seems to be right might one day be replaced with another better theory that gives us an even deeper insight of our world. I seriously doubt the questions would ever end. There's always new and harder questions to answer as we peel off the layers of an infinitely thick reality.

The debate was already over a very long time ago.
Creationalism and IDism have already been ruled by the courts that it is not a valid scientific theory and should never be taught in a Science class as 'Science'.
