I finished watching  the clip and it looks like the clip talk mainly about the end of time. I still wonder what the book is all about. End of time? Is it in a novel form? Aaarrgh

The lost bible seems to be more compelling to me. It  discusses the numerous scriptures that do not make it to be part of today's bible. I read some pages through the book. I think it is rather interesting.

There is nothing wrong about being meek as long as you submit for the right reasons and to the right persons.

However there would surely be times when you have to stand up for what you believe is right even if the whole world is against you.

Some people if not the majority even think that being meek is actually protecting the people they love.

Tyrannical and corrupt governments all over the world take the advantage of the knowlege that the majority of people they rule are timid. A timid population is what gives a tyrant his power. Timid people are also ignorant and selfish people of today's society.  They even usually put the blame on the victims of corrupt system. Talk about rubbing salt on another person wounds.

But even the powerful choose their enemies wisely. I learn a lot about the behavior of men from walking my dog. Stray dogs only dare to intimidate what they see as weaker or quieter dog. My dog also only dare to bark at quiet dogs or smaller animals like cats. The more passive the quieter dog is the more daring the intimidating dogs would behave. Many men follow the pattern of dogs.

Ah that's nothing imo. In Jakarta we have a Catholic priest beaten up while walking to a minimarket recently. He passed out but the attackers moved him to a restaurant premises where the beatings continued. I believe he's still hospitalised now.

Imo God fearing person would ultimately fear to do sins especially the bigger sins or those which hurt or are detrimental to other people.

But also imo you cannot fear something that you don't know or have no knowldege of.

Let alone loving it. But loving God is so muuuch better than fearing God. Try to love God if you can but you could try by first fearing God. But in order to fear God you must know God. Hence read the bible as your starting point. Be faithful and if you are faithful sooner or later you would know God not just from the bible.

PS I don't think anyone can love God unless that love is given to him from God.

I can give you my personal reasons why everyone should fear God if you want them I could PM them to you ;-)

Men can never ever be satisfied by things from the outside. Never.

Men can only be satisfied from the inside out not the other way around.

Only God can give a man his fullness in life. That is overwhelming peace that brings joy. But people do not know this and tend not to believe this. Even fewer who believe receive God's grace of this overwhelming peace that brings joy. A peace out of this world. That is something no money of any amount, any can buy.

It's been rebuilt and I heard now it has become a beautiful church.

Yes you are right. But there is a difference if God raised us, you and me early or later on. because those raised early would enjoy life much earlier. So it's not that I worry how long I have to wait because I can never felt to be waiting long at all but I want to enjoy life as early as possible. Even if possible without ever descending to the kingdom of death at all hahahahhahahah. The point is we all want to live and enjoy living not to mention living in the presence of God.

Some more at death I and you would no longer remember God, I and you would not be able to 'relate' to God for anything. I know this is no longer needed because we would rest without disturbance but Isn't it scary to have lost your entire memory of God and what God has done in your life? even though God still 'feel the dead' as He is faithful and all knowing. But it's more like one way connection from God and none from ours.

Anyway I don't belive that we are saved by joining a particular religion. But we are saved if we do what God commands us to do through Jesus and faith in Jesus.

Whatever you choose, why not try both Protestant and Catholic church and see which one you like better.

Take it easy. Faith needs time to build, one step at a time. Get rid of the bigger sins first and repent, the smaller ones are most likely to be a daily struggle but try to remain faithful. I hope you will find God a living God in your life. Try to love God, literally too. May God give you the kind of peace that is overpowering(if not ask it) and give you His blessings.

When God gives you his overpowering peace, do not have any attachment to sins, otherwise the peace would be taken away again. God is a gentle and kind God He doesn't require you to be perfect to receive His blessings but you can't have any attachment to sins.

Many things I want to write but I hope you find the wisdom as you go along the way.

Life is not all about work. Sure people could push themselves for an extended period of time but eventually they would grow tired and exhausted themselves. People cannot struggle all the time. It's pointless too. Life wasn't meant as a struggle. Work hard yes of course. Enjoying work? You better to. Enjoying life? You bet you have to.

That is why it's called life not work. Life is supposed to be full of colors.

People with passion and obsession! People who are vibrant and alive!

The ones who are against what I wrote are mostly ordinary people while a Catholic pastor said plainly that theologically I was correct that a dead person would not be resurrected immediately but would be in a state of resting until God raised him to life.

I've had an encounter with a Catholic monk or at least who is now been given the brown robe that I knew he was once a man but he no longer is and that he has received power from God. I still remember pretty well that he was well built and I at once wanted to be like him. I thought If he could make it so could I. Whatever he endured in his life I could too. I said these things to him through my heart because I was tempted by his power. hahahahahah I've never felt wanting to be anybody else even until this day aside from that well built monk.

So I think I'll be a minority among the Catholics for now.

The Catholics at least the ones on national forum are pretty much against what I wrote here. They all think they would go straight to heaven or hell rightaway.
