1) Cost. Which one can he/she afford? No point starting to build a battle fortress, and then run out of bricks halfway!
It's a
sponsership from company with 2 years of bond for course fee not
over $22k2) Recognition. Which one is more 'recognised'? Which faculty has better standing? According to the course consultant, Bradford is longer in the market, the other one is still quite new to SG and asia market.
3) His short-term plans. Is he/she planning to date and get married amidst studying for the degree? Or is he prepared to put aside his social life and all other plans to study? No, single now.
4) Modules being covered. Is he/she the sort who just die-die want a degree? Or is he/she interested in getting a good background with which to understand certain aspects of the business world better? A degree doesn't guarantee that one will become a good manager, no way, José! But with the right approach, it does provide alternative perspectives to decision-making. If time and $ spend i think most of us die die wanna get degree back. I don't know the degree is more like a personal goal, but if we didn't get one we wldn't know if we will use it not ? When opportunity knock if i don't have a degree, nothing i can do. I means that my view lor..
5) Duration. WHY is one degree program only for a year, whilst the other is for 3 years? Does the longer one include less modules per semester whilst the other one crams more modules within the same time frame? If so, does your friend want to go slow and easy or kamikaze style?
Yes, very much
diff lor. that's y i am confuse. later i will paste the
module diff. hee..6) Current Working Condition. Does he/she work in an environment that is supportive of its employees furthering their education? For instance, would they give study leave and perks like that? Is he/she keen on taking the course to further his career within the same firm or is he planning to get the degree in hand quickly, and then scoot off to 'greener' pastures? ya my immediate boss is supportive, even nagging me to go for one coz he keep saying i am still young. He even say if i want to take course, he is willing to let me go off early like 4.30pm.
7) Sponsorship and 'Bond'. Is the company sponsoring the course? What is the length of bond afterwards? Once again, Point #6 has to be taken into account.
As above le.. Amount not over $22k for 2 years bond. These are the factors I would consider before making my decision.
Sigh... miss those days when I worked as a Human Resource Administrator in the HR Devt section...

I need some advise on Degree Program, but now i am abit lost as i don't really know much about it. It's confusing..
There are 2 program i am looking at :
Bachelor of Science (Hons) in International Business and Management
(Awarded by University of Bradford, UK)
Bachelor of Business Administration (Specialising in International Business)
(Awarded by Southern Cross University, AUS)Bradford courses takes 3yrs to complete. While Southern Cross take 16 Mths.
Of coz i am attracted to the short duration, yet i am afraid if it's good enough or should we die die take 3 yrs degree ? Afraid that if i took shortcut, and it might not be very recogized either locally or oversea. But i saw the MOE website, both Uni are recogize by them.
Anyone taking Southern Cross Degree now ? How is it ?
Some of my friends were saying that it might be a crash course. I really need help. Thanks in advance.

my lady fren has a problem with her boss during appraisal today.
She was hired as admin executive in the interview jobscope as admin and secretary to project director.Supporting project co-ordinating
E.g Meeting, catering, documentations for submission to clients etc... dept adminstration for daily admin to travel arrangement for dept etc...
Secretary to boss.
Now he was telling her to find another more subjective scope to do that made her stay in co. more stable.
If not if the managment level ask if they can do without admin, she will be at risk during critical time.
But she is really clueless what to add into her scope.
Btw she is in Engineering company, she doesn't like sales and tender work due to the the market they are facing are very very small (sensitive group) do there isn't much to learn neither. Liking if she support the sales manager will be doing calling and chasing after supplier for quote and delivery only. She will not learn any subjective things. Coz everyone can do calling.
How ? any advice ? She need to reply her boss in 1 week time what she want to do ???
By the way, the company is going to sponser her Master.

erm. It really takes alot of determination to study in class, there will definitely be people disrupting the lesson and such. Dont bluff yourself that you'll study once u hit private, things change. If only you think you can overcome such circumstances where by 95% are smokers, many disrupting the class, not to even mention u might get bullied.
And yea, my school had classes 4 days a week, hair could be kept till any length, any colour and u could go to class an hour late and sometimes the teacher would just mark ur attendance. Some there even like to take breaks every 10 mins, going out for 10 mins. If you think you can resist such temptations, go and enrol for private if you think its better lor.
Really needs alot of determination to do well.
agreed.. heee...

dnt tink it's 100% true, to my thinking of coz.
Maybe that guy / guy are friendly type can be quite close type.
Dnt be offended by my idea below ok.. Just some thoughts from me.
tks.. SIGN #1:
He flashes his brows and smiles when he sees you.
Maybe flashing as flirting or disturbing a close lady fren. May not means otherwise.
# Body Language Decoder: Raised brows signal attraction: It's the universal sign of interest and it exists in every culture. In fact, some experts think it's the most recognized non-verbal sign of greeting used by humans. When we're attracted to someone, our eyebrows rise and fall subconsciously. And when the other person is similarly attracted, they raise their brows and smile in return. The whole exchange lasts less than a second, though, so it can be easy to miss unless you're looking out for it!
SIGN #2:
He points his body towards you.
Maybe the couple could be in a rather close relationship as fren, that he might sit at his comfort. Doesn't mean he not intrested right ? My thinking again.
# Body Language Decoder: If he's across the room, take a peek at his hands and feet: We tend to point toward the object of our desire subsciously. When we find someone attractive, we'll often point (with our hands, feet or toes) toward that person.
If you're engaging in a conversation with him sitting next to you, it's even easier to tell: If he leans slightly forward and keeps his shoulders and upper body squarely facing you, it shows that he's deeply interested in you and what you have to say.
He lean forward to flirt ?? We dnt deny there are flirt around do we ? heee
SIGN #3:
He gazes at your lips while you're talking.
# Body Language Decoder: Our eyes have a body language all their own. A major telltale sign of how we feel about someone is our gazing pattern: When we look at acquaintances, like at business meetings, we keep our gazes at eye-level, focusing on the other person's eyes and the bridge of the nose.
With friends or someone we like, we hold our eye contact longer than usual and our gaze moves down to include the nose and mouth.
What if he is shy dnt dare to do eye contact with the gal ? Some guys are so shy till they dnt dare to look at you.
And if he's romantically drawn to you, the look can further drop down to include parts of your body like the neck or shoulders. This type of intimate gaze conveys interest. It's as if he can't resist caressing the rest of your face and hair with his eyes, or he's imagining what it feels like to kiss you on the lips.
SIGN #4:
His pupils widen and he blinks more when looking at you.
# Body Language Decoder: The size of our pupils adjusts according to two things: Light and attraction. It's a biological reaction we cannot control. Secretly compare his pupils and another person's (like your girlfriend if she's sitting beside you) in the same surroundings. If we're looking at a person we like, our pupils will dilate, so will our blink rate. The reason: When we're excited, our body releases more adrenaline which results in dilated pupils and faster blinks, the same physiological process that makes our heart pump faster and our knees weak!
SIGN #5:
He laughs at just about everything you say.
Maybe the gal is a joker ? I mean i am one of the joker and teaser lor...
# Body Language Decoder: If his eyebrows remain slightly raised while you're talking, it signals that he finds you fascinating. Another obvious sign that he likes you a lot: He nods, smiles, laughs and agrees with just about everything you say, including the silly stuff. He's not just being cordial, he's genuinely happy to be with you!

Any tips on how to take care of a dyed and permed hair?

1) Try not to do the perming and dyed in single day. Do it after 1 or 2 weeks after the perm so that your hair will have enough rest, as perming lotion is quite harsh on hair.
2) Mouse / curling lotion to hold its curl. Mouse will be cheaper but effective if you know how to use. Do not comb curls, if really need to use a wide tooth comb. Section the hair, and use fingers to curls small lock of hair at a time.3) Digital curls will be more tame then normal cold perm.
4) You will need serum to strengthen your hair, twice a week for treatment (salon / DIY)
