    • just asking for someone who refused to be a member of this forum just to ask one question.

He has some kinda anxiety disorder crap (so he thinks) but he refuses to go to a psychaitrist or doctor because he didn't want it in his record. He was given C1L1 for flat foot. Here's the question: Should he discuss this 'problem' thingy with the higher ups during BMT or something or let it go? Apparently he CLAIMS that this anxiety screws with his well-being. So let's just say he's not keng-ing, what should he do in this case? He doesn't want it to be on record because he buys insurance outside and this would hinder his policies or something. Please advice.

    • Just asking.... if you're pes CxL1/L2, (taking into account that you have no excuse from loud noise, limbs, grass and whatnot), what are the days that one would be outfield and if you're CxL3/L9 means you have no outfield?

    • Selling one modified (legal to use in A levels) TI 84+ Silver Edition Teacher's Edition for $90. Different from the usual Silver Edition.

      Contains:

Blue faceplate (not the light blue one)

      Blue slide on cover

No name written on it. Condition 9/10. Battery is weak so you'll have to change to a new set.

This GC is pretty rare I got it at a US TI convention for the fun of it (cost me 140USD wth) and it has been my backup GC for a long time. Contact 93373394 for a quick transaction. SMS only. Meetups in the east or central areas.

Sorry pictures are somehow mirrored I don't know how to fix it.

Also selling another TI 84+ black GC for $70. My name is scratched on the back "name" column.

    • I think the 8 to 5 to study is really bull shit. Sorry to say that. You think he's the only one who wants 8-5? Everyone wants that. The only thing that would get him into 8-5 in my opinion is if he really sinks into depression and starts slashing himself. That may warrant him a PES E for his mental condition. Sorry girl but that's the fact.

Anyway can someone explain how does 8-5 allow him to study everyday and henceforth save thousands of dollars? Isn't it the same if he finishes NS and study everyday too in Singapore? :S I don't get it.

U think no one has plans to go be young and obtain a degree? FACE IT. Even I have to face it. I being a musician have to practice every weekend. That's life. There's no such thing as too late. Face reality.

      Or simply try suicide.

    • I would suggest you retaking the subjects that matter the most. For eg. if you are going to finance, retake math.

I myself (in a JC) am not really prepared for the As and applying to a music school overseas as my only A would be from MEP and maybe GP.

Don't worry you can retake your SATs 6 times whilst in NS. ;) And apply to US.

    • well I played the piano since 3, the harp since 10, and self taught the guitar and violin. Hated it at first but eventually learnt to love music. I've got an LRSM and LTCL for the piano, and a grade 7 after teaching myself how to play the violin. As for the harp, I didn't take exams cos it was troublesome shifting harps around...

I've always wanted to learn to play wind instruments tho. Like the piccolo :)

all skin colours are white(no pigment) in the lower layers of the skin but pigmented on the epidermis (outer most layer)

white skin - no pigment in the lower layers and an epidermis with very little pigments or in other words translucent.

yellow skin - no pigment in lower layers and an epidermis with very little pigments but has carotene in the lower layers that exute an amber tinge.

from my observation I notice that japanese are extremely light yellow, beige-sorta milky and some even white.

Has anyone been to Japan? Can you shed some light on this (no pun intended).

      Yes this is true.

Unfortunately for me (being half japanese), I'm much fairer than my Chinese male friends, even after countless camps and outings at the beach. Japanese tend to get sunburnt very easily, and after recovering from it, we are as fair as ever -.-

As for the yellow-beige issue, I think there is some validity in it. I have a girlfriend (chinese) and she's always complaining to me that why am I having a nicer skin tone as compared to her and other typical chinese. My skin color, even tho I'm asian, is slightly pinkish beige instead of the usual chinese yellow-y color. But I'm still yellow-skinned to some extent! :)

Guess I've got more 'japanese genes' from my mom :P

Hope this answers your questions. It is plausible. :)

    • cos it works this way. He's going in in Dec (pes BP). Then results only release in March. So he has to wait for the next year to get into JC again. He doesn't know if he really failed GP yet.

Anyone can enlighten us on the rationale behind this?

I THINK they din excuse us from firearms because in a case of a war (VERY VERY UNLIKELY IN THIS LIFETIME), no matter how deaf we are, we will still be given a rifle and die for the country. To death!
