http://www.taiwantourbus.com.tw/english/index.phpIf u want to go to sun moon lake, u can visit this web-site and buy any of the trips u want. The price is reasonable and u don't worry about transportation. They pick u up from ur hotel or any appointed stops. It's a mini bus. The damage includes meals and also sends u a tour guide.
Suggest u eat more in Taiwan, especially night markets.

However, recently there's a lot of negative comments and remarks about my decision to move from people around me. Furthermore, my mom and sister are not supportive. Lots of stress and pressure on this.
Anyway, I need comments, advice and suggestions about to renting a place which is affordable and near a train station in case I not getting a car anytime soon. I have some on the list like, Strathfield. Paramatta, Epping, Hurstville.
Thanks in advance.....
Mid9Sun, How old are u? If u are still young and have the profession, then u can give it a try. If things are not going well as what u expect, just back sg. You have to make a clear mind.

Managed to compile some info on business set-up and requirements, but just thought maybe there might be some unwritten rules or regulations etc when operating there plus perhaps i can tap on their locals' knowledge and experiences.
rokprince... I'm sorry but I have no idea about how to start a business in taiwan and what u have to pay attention to, especially for foreigners. What kind of business u are planing to do? Maybe u should do the survey whether this business will be popular in Taiwan or not first.

U are right. It must fall in love deeply so feel he is too good go be true.I had. He is too good to be true and I'm too stupid to identify clearly. Just learn the experience...I'm not the princess so prince won't happen to me.
But falling in love with those people who are just ur ideal is really good. Get hurt but experienced and learnt.

even though u have quarrel everytime, can't deny some sweet and happy memories still exist. i think maybe he doens't treat u cruel enough, so u still miss him.
in case he avoids u and keeps a distance from u; or u can do same to him, u two will take apart....just need time.
if u feel that u can't let him go at this moment, then just enjoy it till the relationship is really bad enough...it will be the timing to let u and him go...

Is it?? Why ur government report like that??
Its to make the ruling party look competent. No country's newspaper takes such a great interest in reporting about bad things about their neighbours. Recently, Hong Kong made a policy mistake in implementing the waiving of the maid levy and our local State times was so eager to report it. But when our neighbours are better than us, they conveniently forget to report it. I think the State Media should report good things about our neighbours instead of only bad things so that Singaporeans/PAP can learn from them too.
wah...not fair ne..
our media always report and import us how nice lives our neighbours have. for instance, u and hk have the bonus or refund from ur government. how we envy u...

i couldnt google any statistics, but i dont think Taiwan has a higher crime rate. It is the free and open media that sensationalise the news of murder and robbery. Japan for example has one of the lowest crime rate in the world but if you read their daily news, their media has a perversion for reporting rape, murder and robbery on a daily basis.
but...Taiwan is smaller than those countries ne.. Taiwan even is only bigger than Singapore.

sometimes i feel Taiwanese are too free to be ruled. A "Fine" country like Singapore is not bad actually. Fine always is the best way to keep a good life to people. See...when u turn on the tv, there are no news about robbery, murder for money or love or even no reason... Everytime, we turn on the news channel, it seems like to watch movies...

True...
maybe our english is not so good but it seems that most of taiwanese are very friendly to foreigners as long as u speak in english or chinese in strange accent. we always try to give u a hand and solve ur problems as well as we can. sometimes too zealous...i think
when i went to sg, i found that people are cooler than tw. but i think that it's just the culture difference. and that's ur character.

I guess that it's the education when we start to receive as kids. Teachers tell us that being a high level citizen, we have to oblige and do those ways. Also our free media helps a lot. Import many concepts and view of opinions to us everyday....
U have ur own advantage...we also admire that u can have english as ur official language which makes u more competitive. Most Taiwanese English are fair or poor.
