you're understating our official number of F-16s by almost 3 times.
Originally posted by Ariedartin:No nerfing. F-35 is part of an international JSF program and had international participation throughout its development. We get the same product, but less expertise since we weren't the ones building and testing it.
Singapore did say we could procure up to 100 units, but remember it's just an upper limit. We only have 22 F-16 interceptors and 45 F-5s that could be replaced for the interceptor role by the F-35A (the other variants are designed to be carrier-based.). Then again, this being a multi-role fighter, the RSAF might have more in store for the aircraft.
In any case, it means more pilot vocations available in the future.

Yes its all-green design of MARPAT
Originally posted by LazerLordz:Buy color pencils, take a piece of paper, and sketch.

Some say it's green and grey flecked CADPAT, some said it was MARPAT with grey replacing the black, and some said it was all-green digital mongrel of MARPAT and CADPAT.
Just keep the damned design as of now lah. Wah piang. Can faint really.

I wouldn’t say its ugly, just that people get too used to the current No.4. In fact I think it looks better and will defintely camou a person better.
Rank for men and spec still on the shouder but officers and WOs will be in the centre.
haha, vitasoys, those sway ones are just trying them out. Unit will also get the grey ones. We will be the first unit to convert to new camou.

HQ coy, by itself, is just the branches. It could be in the past, but right now, there is a support coy that consists of a signals platoon, scout platoon etc etc etc platoons.
Originally posted by specialOps:These are the 4 main operational branches, there're other sub-branches, which when you're in an operational unit, you'll know.
It is NOT okay to reveal the whole structure on the internet, if you need to know, you'll know.
Other things I can tell you about a typical Battalion HQ is that, it consist of 3 companies - HQ company (with the 4 branches), a Signals company and a Sniper/Reconnaissance company.
They mainly play the support and command role, to support the fighting companies.

Blank Units means if you scan/out-ration at the POS machine but delay in keying-in your unit, the POS machine will jump back to the original page and whatever quantity you have keyed or scanned in will be under Blank Unit.
If your Ration IC/ Messing Warrant checks for wastages, there may seem to be a wastage due to the above. However, if he is alert and 'zhai' enough, he will see that the wastage quantity is similar to the quantity under Blank Unit. He can check the system for the parent unit for the quantity keyed under Blank Unit and see if they belong to your unit.
Being a Ration IC, especially if you're under an active unit, is certainly no joke.

That 1 USD deduction is to verify your card. You have to call your card center to obtain... if I remember... the last 4 digit of the charged transaction which you will need to verify you are the card owner...

To verify my account, the amount to be deducted is S$3 not US$1.
I can still send and receive money with an unverified account right? Just that the sending and receiving limit is lower?
