brcc = brigade recce company course
ispc = infantry scout platoon course
my cst last time consists of a 2 weeks training at hendon camp which includes some nights out and weekend bookouts. the killing of fowls, frogs, iguanas and such were done during this period. we were taught how to cook bamboo rice too which was actually useful for the 2nd half of the course. btw the killing of animals was a 'voluntary' action. if nobody volunteers, the arrows will come.
the 2nd half of the course was a 1 week (iirc) outfield at tekong. we were driven to a beach with beautiful fine sand, lots of coconut trees, olive trees and a little stream running through the jungle behind the beach. we spent about 2, 3 days building A-frame tentages with branches and leaves, plucking coconuts and olives and cooking bamboo rice. the ration given during these 3 days was a pack of combat ration per day to be shared among 2 teams and some uncooked rice (iirc).
after these 3 days, we were told to packed up and topo to another spot on the island. the topo was supposed to be on a team basis but some teams ended up walking together eventually.
after that all of us were settled in a training shed for the night. we were told there will be a simulated attack on us later on which came at around 4am. that was the start of the pow phase of the course. the attack consists of thunderflash and firing of blanks by the instructors. nothing new. after that all of us were told to wear our long 4 inside out and a number was written on each of our shirt. we were also blind folded and hand cuffed. we were then led to walk in a single file to some unknown location. once arrived, we were interrogated one by one using soft and hard tactics. some of us were tekanned with labourous tasks. we were also led one by one to a tank where we were dunked repeatedly into the water. the next one to be dunked was led to the front of the tank to hear the 'torture' of the guy in front.
eventually the exercise was cut halfway as news from the hospital arrived which said one of the trainee has died due to the dunking. several others were sent to hospital as well. by the time my blindfold was removed, i was already blindfolded and handcuffed for 14hours or so.
the escape and evasion phase (chasing by dogs) was not done as all of us were sent back to hendon that same evening.
hope that helps.

hi guys, need your help here.
my computer is inflicted with the above software without me even installing it. it keeps popping up on my screen displaying some 40 over threats it has detected in my pc and asking me to purchase it. even after i close these pop ups, it will pop up again every few seconds later.
my active desktop and my wall paper have also been deactivated automatically and i cannot restore them.
furthermore this software doesn't appear in the 'add/remove programs list' in the control panel and there isn't any uninstall option for it in the start menu.
i tried using spybot and my norton antivirus to remove it but to no avail.
guys is there anything i can do to remove this software from my pc? pls help. thanks.

hi guys,
can anyone advise me on the price of replacing or repairing the suspension system of a normal sedan car like a sunny?
i'm not talking about zhng~ing or tuning kind. juz need to repair or replace because i think my suspension system is going up the lorry liao... can feel every bumps and stones on the road 'transmitting to my chassis' these days..
i suspect the damage is due to my constant overloading of people and baggages especially at the back of the car..
btw will replacing the absorbers help alot?
thanks!

the salesman is a bastard. but sad to say, the buyer is also very very very soft to put it in a nicer way. they knew something is terribly wrong with the price and yet they still pay up... what else can we say?
what do you mean by 'no choice have to buy'? there's no such thing...
let's put aside the total price. even the screen protector at $26 is exorbitant!

juz like to confirm this...
i always tot for a real op like the searching of mas selamat kastari, only those units which have turned operational can be deployed. can those nsf units which have not turn operational be deploy as well? i'm kinda worried coz my bro juz got into his current unit after his bmt. but apparently there are news that they will join in the hunt as well.
anyone??
moderator, feel free to delete this if you find it sensitive. thanks

Heaviest is the R2 load:
Field Pack:
7 standard field packs (with ET blade) (~4kg? Not sure)
1 * 940 signal set with battery (10kg)
1 * 940 signal set accessories (~1kg+)
1 * 940 battery (~1kg)
1 * 1.5 litre bottle (1.5kg)
SBO:
Standard with 2L water + 1 * smoke grenade
In war, will need to carry 3 additional magazines of rounds I think.
Food: 3 days ration
Weapon: Carbine (Now is SAR21)
Cannot remember if I have forgotten anything else...if the mission requires 300% batteries, put one in the jeep, you still need to carry 200%. tt's the shitty thing...
