Please do not think that all MLM companies in singapore are crooks in brainwashing innocent people.
Bel'Air is a scam.....as distributors have to fork out a great sum of money in the first place to be a count status upon sign up.
Elken and LFI are legal in the sense that distributors are not obliged to buy tons of products in the first place when they sign up. Their distributors earn income only through proper transaction of products to consumers and not through recruiting. (They are legally registered and have legal operations)
The main reason why Elken and LFI recruit people are to make them escape the rat race.... a day-time job income itself is not sufficient especially in today competitive singapore. Thus, additional income from MLM is the answer to the problem.
Duplication and leverage of efforts come from the effects of recruitment.
I am a distributor in one of the companies. I wish to comment that to succeed in MLM requires hardwork and persistence. The is no free lunch in this industry. If u want quick bucks, u can try ur luck at 4D or TOTO.
A reason why many people quit are because they are conned into making fast money without much hardwork. -- (Man weakness)
MLM is a get-rich-slow process and not a get-rich-fast process which requires 1 year to 2 year of your hardwork.Edited by chio_bu 08 Jun `07, 3:51PM

Hi,
I have already received a offer letter from NTU in late April. I feel sorry for my best friends who received rejection letters from NTU just this week.
They have been sending out rejection letters to poly graduates starting from last week.
Keep your fingers crossed and wait...to those poly graduates who did not receive any letter till now.

Don't ever pin your hopes on Singapore. The country has a struck up attitude and I can't wait to leave the place who not only wasted my time (2 and a half years) and look down on me just because I did not choose to go into a stupid JC.How did u fare in your three year poly grades? Average??

i only have one question.... why did u choose engineering?
im doing my final year and all i can say is that so far i know nothing ....
i copy everything and i know the right people thats why i pass all my exams... i see a lot of people drop out... U MUST BE MENTALLY PREPARED FOR THIS COURSE OTHERWISE U MAY NEVER FINISH....I choose this course because the scope of choosing jobs will be much more easier than a business graduate.
Since you copy everything from the right people, you should get get excellent grades??

My friend who manage to enter NTU with average B grades at Singapore Polytechnic told me that our 'O' level Chinese play a part in the admission process too. He got a B3.Getting a good grade in Chinese will boost your chances of admission? Can I clarify on this?
Even though the MOE has mentioned that getting a D7 is sufficient as a requirement for chinese, but NTU will still recognize those with good chinese grade. How true is that?

If I tell all of you that NTU have the tendency to choose Singapore Poly Graduates over Ngee Ann Poly Graduates even they have just obtained average B grades, will you believe me??
My female friends from Singapore Polytechnic manage to enrol to local universities with average B grades with no distinctions.
My another friend from Ngee Ann Polytechnic with Diploma with merit was rejected by both universities. She could not enter even with appeal, what can you say?

FYI, I apply for an admission to local university with 17As, 11Bs, 5Cs & 1D during the last year SAT was implement and they reject my application. This year, I'm attempting again, because my NS is taken into consideration. I'm applying for engineering course also.
I was quite dissappointed at that time, and I know I have to think of other ways, so I took up ACCA course. Ask yourself, if you really want to further your studies, think of other alternatives, dun waste time waiting and hoping to enter local university. Its very difficult unless u have very good grades and do not lose hope if they reject your application.
If my application fail this year again, at least I still can continue studying my ACCA.Can you tell me which poly you are from and what course you study? By rights, you should be able to enter since you have average B grade.
