at the beginning of the story, guo jing is supposed to attend to a duel 16yrs later. Assuming his mentors took no more than a year to find him, he should be around 16,17 yrs old when he left the steppes.
when guo jing first met huang rong, she was described as a lad of 13,14 yrs old. As such, the reader is given an impression that the guy is older by 1,2 yrs. sidenote: very young couple. u would think that in today's society they would be discouraged from going steady by their mentors,parents etc

as written on Life! today, here are some of the edits appearing in the revised novels:
1. In the condor trilogy, Huang Rong's father is now no longer 100% devoted to his deceased wife. It will be hinted that he likes his disciple Mei Chaofeng
2. The Guo Jing-Huang Rong pairing will now be revised from a seemingly elder sis-younger bro r/s to a more equitable standing
3. The standoff at Xiangyang city will now be moved to Qingzhou city after Jin Yong has realised that the mongols had not laid siege to the former in any of their wars
IMHO, new ones may not be better than old works. By intending to fix some loopholes in the stories/adding spice to the plot, the author has unwittingly added new flaws. Here are some of my views:
1. To point 1, Jin Yong has slightly added more insight into Huang Yaoshi's personality. Perhaps this new teacher-student r/s will explain why he is supportive of Yang Guo's r/s. However, such a move make him as deplorable as Wu Santong, considering that his wife was alive back then.
2. Not much comment on pt 2, except that i liked the old r/s back then; would prefer to keep it that way.
3. Finally after so many yrs, Jin Yong's realised that he'd made a historical mistake on XY city and decides to to relocate the siege to QZ. So how is Guo Xiang gonna get her namesake if they weren't there in the 1st place? Sure he could have altered the plot again to compensate for this loophole, but the character will lose some monumental value. Given the excellent plot depicted on the sieges at XY, i think many readers would prefer to leave it that way,
To change or not to change, that is the author's decision. However i'm sure that many readers will share this same thought: If it ain't broken, don't fix it.

Although it is perfectly fine to watch these anime bondage flicks, i think there must be some moderation lah. Some of these flims are realli perverse ones, like those that deal with the occult or incest. Some of these acts can only happen in anime flicks eg using metal pole, water syringe etc. i think it is best to avoid seeing some films, lest it whet ur appetite

Someone mentioned bras with front clips in one of those bra threads. That got me thinking of this:
Bras with clips at the front seems easier to handle, now that you don't havta bend your arms back to unhook your bra. If it's that convenient, why is it that this kinda bra has not become the norm these days? Is it the cost, design, or some other underlying problem?
if front-clipped bras work out just as fine as those normal ones, will gals be ditching their conventional bras and start wearing them everyday?

Well that pretty much says it, rite? U may fantasize of the best ending in a movie, but in real life, time and tide waits for no man...
if i were the director, i would've said the guy waited fer ages under the tree..the old ah chek would be him sitting under the tree...then he sees a gal who looked like her...the final moments would be the old man telling his story to the gal as the cam focuses away from the duo and the tree...

in our parents' generation there's not much emphasis on height probs, so long as u find a good wife/husband, u dun realli mind the height. But nowadays our perceptions have changed. Our expectations've become larger, the 'face' problem becomes more serious, etc. I think those are some of the reasons why ppl nowadays cannot resolve that height prob in their r/s.
I know alot of guys would feel inferior if their gfs are taller than them, but let's not forget that there are also gals out there who cannot accept their bfs being shorter.

i think if ppl wanna criticise abt any post they must 1st be prepared to take some flak too. If they wanna YAWN or post sarcastic remarks on any thread they should think abt how they themselves would feel if their posts received the same negatory responses. If they keep flaming others and they themselves hide in a wall of ‘buay kia siang du lanz’ it’ll only spoil the spirit of this forum
