To me i categorised this kind of love as emotional/attachment feelings. Over the long time of chatting, you kind of feel attached to the other party even though you have not met before.

Whether is the party your true love or not, verdict will be out when both of you meet and start to get along. I mean some people do get disappointed when they have met each other, not in terms of looks but that of behaviour and attitude. To get along well with someone through chatting online doesn't mean you can get along with him well on a real-life level.

      agree totally.

sometimes it sucks when the other party is too afraid to take the next step, moving forward.

      just ranting :D

My question: why would it not work?
It's pretty much the same as the traditional method of meeting new people- only the net replaces the mutual friend as the platform/vehicle for making that connection.

Can someone shed some insight on why it wouldn't work? sure, there's some doubt/trust issues in the beginning, but...

I wanna know as well :(

19 pcs of swiss lost (went stale/stolen)

I still have 79 pc of swiss left.

so now these soldiers without ranks on their bdu will get targetted first. in times of war.
makes it no different from the epaulettes.

Seriously it really has a lot of advantages as compared to flying craft like helicopters and aeroplane.
An airship basically float in the air by filling a large portion of itself with lighter gas.
This tremendously reduce the consumption of fuel. This is an important point, as the fuel has become about 30% of the total operating cost to run an aeroplane.
Due to the save of fuel and cost, it is hence beneficial to the environment.
On top of this, it can stay afloat for a long time. The power can be switched off totally even with a few tonnes of weight, and it will still stay in the air, with no worry of sudden failure of engine.

Seriously, airship has the potential to replace other aircraft and ships in many areas.
It has the advantages of vertical landing like helicopter yet bigger loading capacity, can stay still in the air and able to move faster than ship and vehicles on ground.
It is a good choice for transportation of goods and other task that require long term establishment, can even equip it with a radar to provide a 24 hour surveillance for our air territory, a floating petrol station.

We really should start to put more resource in the R&D of this flying object, don't always let others lead the technology. What you all think?

hmm... so the refueling aircraft are supposed to approach the balloon, no airship, stop, then refuel?

That aside, SG's not big- saves even more resources to have the planes refuelled on the ground?

the next time you take a flight, arrive at EXACTLY at the time your flight's taking off. Not in the wrong what. you can then come here and complain about the poor service the airline provides. ;)

Lesson learnt from this incident- The world does not revolve around you. Your watch showing 5.30pm doesnt mean you're right.
Besides, I remember reading the T&C for Aeroline, it advises the passgengers to be at the terminal at least what, 30, 45 mins before departure?

    • cut them some slack- they're just confirming the details,
I've come across people who tell me they're PRs- when asked for their ID, they give a m'sian passport with a svp.

when asked, they response? "oh, i've been in singapore for so many years already"

i dun like to invest under pressure.  Seriously, i have been approached by a few so called financial planners before.. they tried to sell this fund that fund to me.. but aft doing some research, i realize that the funds they reommended were not the good ones.

      and they were from...?
