      Um.. just bought a SMC 7004VBR cable router yesterday.
      wanted to share my scv cable connections between my XP Pro (server) & win98SE (client).

      hooked it up to my cable modem and it worked right away on the winXP(server). on the win98SE(client), i can't surf nor check mail.
      when i load up outlook on the win98SE(client), it logs in to the mail server, checks, tells me how many mail i got and trys to retrive the mails till it timeout without retriving anything.

      anyone has any idea what went wrong?
      I've upgraded the firmware too.
