i'll just forgo the discussion about whether one wants to be onthe outside

manners is just so subjective and debatable.

      oh, whatever. Rolling Eyes
there will only be minority of people who thinks and behave like you.
you see a pregnant lady standing, you offer her your seat, even if she did not ask for it. i don't owe the pregnant lady anything, its just basic manners. even if its a normal person standing, i will move my a** in. common sense.

hello, even if i didn't ask for the seat, she should have move it when she see someone standing next to her right? if you can say this, means you are also that kind that will stay put in your seat, even if someone is standing there next to you.

for me, anyone with common sense will move in. then if the person still don't want sit down, then its her problem. at least i showed my manners. and this forum is still the same. a perfectly normal question, bound to get lots of rude answers. cannot even talk nicely

    • n i hate it when parents let their young kids run around screaming or playing in any crowded places. i will feel like slapping boht the kid and the parent.

and ya ya, those who lean their own body onto the damn pole in a crowded train. simply brainless man!

    • seems like a lot of irritating behaviors happen on public transport hor?

today i kena one. i went up the bus, then walk right up to a moron who was sitting on the outside of the bus seat. there was only this empty seat and one more empty seat behind. both the morons were sitting on the outside. i stood there and waited, guess what, she didn't even move a muscle lah! then i said excuse me very loud, then she moved in to the inner seat. kaoz! Neutral

Looks like people are getting worse!

Question: What do you think caused people to behave the way they do??

      Options:

1> because costs of public transport is high
2> because they feel they entitled to do so
3> because they see others do so
4> because they want to get even with others who did it to them

      I think it's more an option 1.

so if the cost of public transport is high, means they should rush in before people get out? or couples should openly get touchy with each other in a crowded train cos cost of public transport is high? Shocked

    • I personally can't stand people who try to rush in the train before they let people inside come out.

Can't stand people who talk so loudly on the handphone.

Hate couple who behave like they are the only one on this earth, tickling each other, the girl talking in that sickening sweet tone while hugging the guy like he's gonna run away. All these in a crowded train, or packed shopping mall, or worse, on an escalator.

      Got anything to contribute?

This is exactly what I want to say. You cannot believe everything you read on the net is true. Go get a real quran and read, I believe none of these exist in it. All religion are suppose to be peaceful. As for those who made it unpeaceful, these are the people who took religion into their own hands and twist it into something they want it to be, and start their own twisted religion using the original's religion's name.
